is the a way to check your best times of the dungeon runs?
At the end of each dungeon there is a brief moment in which you see the EXP aand DZ you got (on the right) and the max combo and time you did the run (on the left).
Just keep it in mind or write it somewhere and you will be able to compare it.
Do you know any way to either make effects disappear?
Not entirely, but i can tell you that by lowering the graphics (the thing you would do to let the game run better on slower PCs) you will have way less effects than at max graphics (source: i changed PC around 2 months ago, going from almost minimum settings to all maximum settings and the difference i noticed was like "woah, so this is actually an enjoyable game graphic-wise!")
As i said, you won't lose ALL of the yellow effects, but it may actually help you see better if you have trouble.
Another thing could be the brightness! I'm not sure if it is possible to change the brightness in game, but i used to have an application named "f.lux" that would change the brightness and shading color of my monitor based on both activity and time of the day. I recommend it if you keep having problems or if you stay at the PC for a long time, even if not in a regular pattern.
