Able to turn off Censoring in chat? (merged topics)

  • Hoping that there will be an option to turn off the censorship or that a lot of the words will be fixed soon. I've been having conversations with a few people I've met in game and having half of my words randomly censored does make communication rather difficult.

  • why not just make an option to turn profanity filter off? some people dont really care what people say. and those easily offended just leave it on?

The fact that there are even people who get offended by reading swear words should worry you more than anything. We live in a time were most people get easily offended, they should be ignored, especially in a game. Profanity filter shouldn't even exist.

I can still say some pretty nasty things in game, but god FORBID I say server.

legit though we should have the option to turn it off, I'm 22 years old I don't need you to hold my hand and tell me what i can and can't say in a video game.

Server is such a bad word; so is group... Somehow that was filtered in one of my conversations; no idea why or how... Error... But yeah... at that point lets filter the word filter... it triggers me... Not being a troll here just stating realistic expectations should be set; you can't please everyone's PC-inner-being I mean if you want to do that just censor everything like I said before. (Come on; we are playing a Korean game and your a European publisher; you all laugh at how PC America is... Don't join the US censorship bandwagon just cause you can guys...)

  • I liked a lot of the points you made, the one that stuck out was the one where you can play as a loli with clearly visible panties shots, and even have the option to buy different panties, and not just for lolis, take haru for example, every dash jump is her bending so dramatically to get a clear panties shot, and same for running and stopping in town. Clearly not a child's game, so why force censorship on words that most people use on a normal basis?

  • I understand censoring, but "pass" isn't a rare P akasha card

anyway, I agree with having the option to turn censoring off

  • Never in my entire life of gaming have I thought that an enforced chat filter is a good idea in any way. It serves no purpose. On one hand people get inconvenienced by it and on the other hand those that want to say those things will still do so in one way or another. It's literaly impossible to filter out every variant of something. If it was an optional thing, okay, I don't mind. People that want it can have it. Fine by me. But you know, I'm sitting here with my 30 years behind me wondering why this is something that is enforced. People that are so easily offended by a few swear words shouldn't be on the internet to begin with.
