Anything to help enchanting

  • You know, we are the only (non-trash region) version that doesn't have NPC system since someone wants to milk the omegawhales and doesn't really care about the rest of us.

What's the point of all these events, it only makes a lot of players more miserable than they already are.

People that can probably see into the code say that Trisha lvl 2 VIP has a 0.5% chance to upgrade from +8 to +9.

Trisha lvl 5 VIP has 6-7% chance for that upgrade, looking at the Japanese footages of uploaded upgrade attempts, it seems realistic.

Even if we are generous and assume that from +8 to +9 has a 0.5%, which it doesn't, let's face it, and assume that max level Trisha only has a 5% chance, that's a 1000% chance boost. What's this meme about DOUBLE CHANCE and 50% success rate boosts?

Why would you not give us NPC favourability? Saying that it's outdated and not being updated is a dumb reason. You know laws about not killing is pretty damn outdated and not being updated, but it's pretty useful to have around.

What's the point of not having it? You don't even milk omegawhales with it, even people who spend 100k SC on the grutin casino don't have a full +9 gear. Just having the ability to be able to +9 something without dropping 200 strength tickets on it would surely increase expansion ticket sales.

Why is it alright to deny the sense of progress from everyone? A lot of us alt farms for a couple of hundred hours, failing to enchant is basically throwing your time out of the window. You guys made me waste 200 tries, around 160 hours of farm, just to fail getting my Aurith weapon from +8 to +9, then another 32 hours to just reach +7 on my Primal weapon, then another 30 strength tickets down the drain to get from +7 to +7 during this one. There are people who dropped 160 strength tickets to get from +8 to +8, that's like 400 euros, how much money you want for that damn thing?

What kind of motivation am I supposed to have to keep on moving?

  • Why don't we just have a replacement system then. After every 10 strength tickets wasted on your gear, the next upgrade will be successful.

I know, I know, Japanese players +9 their whole primal set in 10 strength tickets, but still.

    Can I stop having a +7 ffs.

At least transfer my acc to the Japanese server pls.

  • .5 to 5 is a 900% boost.

We're gonna complain about them anyway since there's no way they can do everything or enough right, so who cares about some extra yelling? Say that everyone gets their +9s. Will they be happy? Heck no lmao, they'll start complaining that there's nothing to do, not even an illusion of something to do, which we do have now.

And asking for motivation to grind? Maybe they're giving you less motivation here so you have more for other things. You could always be a casual. Started playing on day 1 here, still haven't gone primal. Divinity OS 2 is draining my days just fine.

  • Say that everyone gets their +9s. Will they be happy?

I mean, even if we needed like 10 strength tickets for 1 gear, that's plenty of time to farm. Even after you +10 everything, you can just get a pvp gear yourself, farm EC, have multiple sets, you are not going to need crit and crit damage for AoV. We are going to be extra screwed when it comes out, since we only have 1 shitty set and that's not even going to work.

Can you stop defending such ridiculous amount of grinding needed for no reason?

I play this game semi casually and I have a +7 Primal Weapon I will never even attempt to go past it (unless we get that HUGE increase to normal chances like said in this thread). Last upgrading event I sold all my aetharite for high prices, and I don't regret one bit. Better than wasting hundreds of ADs and tons of Expansion Tickets and possibly get absolutely nothing to show for it.

Why would you keep content (even in form of upgrades) away from the playerbase like this? what's the point? You do realize there's more gear to +9 not just weapon too right? And that every new raid we get a new set to +9 all over again? Or that there's PvP sets too?

The way it is now is not even about milking, because only a very few insane ppl will even try to +9 with the ridiculous chances we have right now. Most of us, me included, aren't even gonna attempt it, ever, waste of my time and money.

  • This is not about defending, this is about knowing what you signed up for. If new content does require +9 everything and can't be cleared with a 'semi-casual' ~+7, now that's a problem. I've played games where you can get everything fairly easily. The playerbase was no more happy than this one is. You'll just run into other troubles. I don't get what the problem is with not having absolute maximum gear, just take what you have as good enough and start stocking up for the new raid, continuing on with the illusion of progress.

And if it's not the content that requires maxed, but the players that ask for it to allow you to go with them, that's their toxicity. Which is again present in other games and doesn't help anything.

Oh and by the way, the game I mentioned where you can get everything without this ridiculous grind? It died. Fast. New content can't be dished out often enough, even more so in the hypothetical situation where we're getting quality content. Is that an excuse to make the grind? No, but at least you can see other people in the server.

Can you feel the difference between hard to get and impossible to get? +9 on primal gear is literally impossible without paying idk how much money (A LOT). Or you can just farm rucco and candus city for half a year (probably still not enough)

Tell me, why is this a thing? Why other servers have normal upgrade system? Coz ppl do spent a lot of money on buying strength tickets, and gameforge are ok with that, this is the only reason i can see.

If they will add NPC system, it's not gonna change everything, there is still lack of content, bad optimization, tons of bugs, rng boxes in game shop, in game market controlled by rich ppl(literally any person with a lot of money can drop or rise price of any item) and much more, but it doesn't mean that they shouldn't do at least something, just do one thing for now, just anything good.

  • Why do I feel like this is becoming a continuation of some other thread where someone went into a rant about the meaning of p2w? I'm not gonna discuss the semantics of "impossible" or "literally", but even the possibility of you opening the door and all the air going out of your room is not 0. I personally follow the true p2w meaning where e.g. you have donator weapons, truly no way to get them besides paying.

As far as other servers go I don't know nor care much, but it's not all fun and happy times. I've heard that in South Korea it is normal to have paywalls if you want to advance people just accepted that like there's no problem. May be just a rumour, makes no difference to me.

And yeah, you answered your own question. As far as I know a company needs to succeed in material terms; be financially successful. If "impossible to get" works for them, it works.

Rng just likes to mess with people. And for just one thing, they did improve daily rewards just recently, maybe an improved version of NPCs is around the corner as well, the possibility is not 0.

And what did we learn out of this conversation? What do you want to say? Eeverything is fine? Gameforge doing the right thing?
We have to just play this laggy game without endgame content, and pay for rng boxes?
And maybe, ond day, gameforge will add something good to the game, like daily rewards, but they will bring a tons of bugs again and destroy game optimizaton even more...
People will not just sit and wait forever, people will leave, every month game losing players, and i will leave too, coz im tired of waiting for 3-5 hours to do 10 primal runs.

  • You're asking me that? I didn't make you play this game nor deal with any of its bs, I'm just saying that Gameforge makes sense to me, not that it needs defending or attacking, that they are right or wrong. If you come to the forums I take it you have hope that something might change from you posting this here. I came in thinking I might add some realism based on my experience from other games with similar situations. But if you just want to rant or vent, I can point you to a discord where people switch between complaining about the game and talking about how they spend their money and time on it.

It all just comes down to the same thing everyone always says: it's your choice. Mine is to play casually and deal with not being able to get max gear. If I come to a dead end, I'll take a break for a month or few and come back later to see what's new.

  • If you come to the forums I take it you have hope that something might change from you posting this here.

I'm pretty sure that gameforge doesn't care about what we are talking here, but i still like the game, i want it to be better, and i know it can be better, and it's just hurts for me... I spent a lot of time playing this game, and i had a lot of fun, but now i see how bad situation is, and this is just sad... I might comeback later, but i have no hopes for this game anymore.
