Well kinda good but also kinda bad. As f2p I farmed myself to the very top. I had perfect tera brooches with great effort and also upgraded succesfully my weapon to +9. I feel kinda dumb about spending billions of dz on brooches and converters but honestly in the big picture this is a big improvement for the whole server. with this update the huge amount of dz will be gone and casual players also have a chance of converters and a lot of antidestructions with grutingold now.

What can I say? You didnt had to farm brooches and energy converters before. You just had to wait for this day xD

Anyway I won't complain because this is one of the first steps to improve this server.

Exactly.

GF isn't ruining loyal players. It's a single temporary loss to the loyal players that did grind. But now EVERYONE gets the goodies. Not just whales, not just no-lifers, not just new players. EVERYONE. Some might not like it but I think sometimes, some players have to take a hit for the team.

Some games have premium items that end up being OP and that gets nerfed. Is that a rip-off? Maybe but its better for the overall health of a game.

For those that whales or grinded, its a temporary loss but in the future they also get a lot since its easier to obtain things.

Not sure about loyal players leaving because of a loss profit. I can understand this, premium items and the like should not get changed too often since people paid for it. But this is to better the overall health of the game.

When new players leave, it's because the game is frustrating. If they enjoy it, they would stay. So making it more enjoyable to new players, mean they will more likely become the loyal playerbase.

A dying game SHOULD NOT focus on the loyal playerbase, that's a small population. They need to attract NEW players, that's how a small game grow. Catering to the loyal player base only maintains the status quo. Ofc they should support loyalty but they shouldn't screw over the new players just to satisfy existing ones.

Could there be compensation? Maybe though I'm not sure how anyone can quantify the effort put in to it. Anyways, things like this happen. People grinded for certain gears. When new gears release, the old ones become obsolete. So if you grinded for valuable brooches that lost its value... well that's just how these things go.

Cant say much about this event them fine socks is KING.....im also F2p some my stuff i got outfits were bought via DZ/gold. I farmed a lot for BSKs and SDs also i was lucky to have great guildmates that gave away some brooches. Before primal, farming raids for ECs and WUCs in GC man the grind was real now everyone can get stuff from getting that 1000 fine socks lol crazy but cant be mad at that cause we dont know what events gonna be like...Im happy for the newbies can potentially catch up by all means......

I certainly enjoy having more costumes and all other items dropping from event become "not a costume".

I would like to have more fair chance at completing the set for emote but I think it's beyond my reach.

I can handle the grind, I can get over awful RNG but having both combined is too much.

PS I also appreciate this event is not split in two, I hope all future ones will have full transparency on loot from day one

They shouldn't have screwed me over with the grutin event and denied me everything ever.

I quit and not coming back for this.

I appreciate the freebes and whatnot. But on the same token, since it seems this event has reset the market, it's going to be that much harder to meet the ridiculous demands of people selling costumes.

Most people want 5b+ for costumes and who knows what ridiculous amount for wings. IF energy converter prices stay low like they are now then it'll be all the more harder to afford those things.

There's also no incentive for the people selling the costumes to lower the prices at all.

Eh. One step at a time...I Guess... I'll take the wins where I can get them. And this event for the most part is a win.

No one is going to buy overpriced costumes because no one has the money, these socks are a gold sink so less inflation. Overall a big thumbs up for this event. Now everyone can have an op brooch set and can reroll his gear for better stats.

I'm really glad GameForge managed to save the economy after what happened with the gold seller.

They said they would fix it, and they did. They said they would make EC and WUC more frequent, and they also did. Huge thumbsup for that.

Any way, this event helping the economy is also killing my mouse, please do a contest because of all thos click I might need a new one..

So the recycled outfit don't have emote, then do the craftable versions have emotes? Or are they only available from socks and the christmas orb

Earrings and Nose do drop in the event dungeon and are really cheap on the market. But then there's the antlers, as far as I know only from masterful socks. Or maybe something in the cash shop, too.

Do raids give more than ep4 manic? But they cost a lot more EP....

Primal gives 9-10 per run, GC uhh.. I went there but didn't pay attention. I think 9-10 as well. As for the odds, no clue. But one NA whale I know opened over 400 masterly socks and didn't get the antlers. For farming no places can compare to Yumi's 10k dzenai socks so what's it matter. I'd say it's not even worth going for antlers.

GC gives around 7~9, I only started recently and so GC was the best PvE farming place I could use.

But as you said, the socks are the best. I open around 10~20kk socks a day and they give around 300~500 Crystal's a day.
Cannot say much about Antler's tho, as it took me only 5 Socks to get them.
