Resolution Problem

  • I switched displays from my 1920x1080 resolution monitor to my 4096x2160 tv monitor and the game just went haywire on me. The resolution is crap on my tv monitor, I also went to General.ini to fix it manually but it won't stay put in game and will go back to 1707x960 resolution. The only thing that stays still are the Screenmode numbers which when I put to 2 for fullscreen gives me the error "Failed to initialize the engine" and when I go to 1, the screen goes super tiny, and 0 which is windowed works but the resolution won't go up so it's also super tiny.

I heard this game supports 4k and the only way is with fullscreen so I want to know how to put it on fullscreen without all these problems? No, don't tell me "just play on the other monitor if it works" because that's not a fix and I'd rather chill at my bed lazily and play it from there than having to take my ass to my computer.

My graphics card is GTX 1060 if that'll make a difference.

  • works fine for me on all resolutions Just wondering is your monitor plugged into your GTX 1060 are your drivers up to date, along with C++, Direct X, etc. Have you checked the game file's integrity if it's yes to all of the above I'll see if I can help you on this tomorrow (today is my only day off I do BIG sleep uwu)

  • In changing your display settings, the original way to do it is to go full-screen mode in game (alt+enter) and then go to display size and changing it through the game menu. This is after you make sure your actual display is on the resolution you want (so 4k). Changing the general.ini file is not the originally intended way of changing the resolution.

I suggest contacting the support team for advice as they should be able to assist you with technical issues.
