IP story

  • Never happening, been said that a different company has the licensing for SEA and there's not ETA for it. Ip lift? Doubt.

  • We all know Gameforge is a shady publisher. Looking back @game release, players from overseas have spent hours playing it and perhaps even on the cash shop, until, out of the blue, Gameforge implemented IP blocks.

In my opinion it was done on purpose, but Smilegate owns SoulWorker licenses so they probably forwarded Gameforge to block anyone who is playing outside of NA or EU (gameforge did mention months before releasing the game to the public that they only own NA/EU license) since they planned on selling SEA license to some other publisher.

Well ... long short story it's up to Smilegate, not memeforge, memeforge only hyped everyone then banned them for the sole purpose of gaining popularity.

Also they never planned on getting license outside North America and Europe, they will not waste their resources when they don't have much to gain from it (NA/EU keeps the cash coming)

  • I support the SEA players from Turkey. The IP block must be removed.

Everyone should be able to play their game on the platform and company they want.

The choice must be left to the player. As a company, you lose yourself by putting an IP barrier.

  • As far as I known, is not as easy as you say, if GF doesn't have the license for a location, it can't just remove the IP block, it is illegal.
