Lootboxes ?

  • Blooming dress in lootboxes, really ? Jin just got his advance, and to celebrate it you're putting some FEMALE ONLY dresses in the LOOTBOXES ? What's wrong with you Wheelforge ? You're giving us content but can't you be less greedy and stop thinking we're gonna spend all our money in stupid RNG ? At this rate you're gonna travel to Mars in less than one year with all the money you keep getting. Seriously I'm begging you, SoulWorker is a great game, stop ruining it with RNG everywhere and stupid p2w.

  • I agree with you, i don't know why they put it in Lootboxes while Jin and Erwin don't have cost in this lootboxe , moreover they really added this stupid random dyes in your lootboxe while in KR they can FUCKING FARM THEM WHEN WILL YOU STOP ADD COSTUMES IN YOUR LOOTBOXES OR YOUR FUCKING WHEEL ? More players will buy your costumes and you will be profitable and your reputation isn't going to tarnish like that Atleast do like some games , when they add something in premium lootboxe , add the percentage to get them like in every gacha games..

Please stop this when there's still time, or else your game will die little by little.

  • Rngbox make money, but kill the community, and after, who will buy your random boxes? You are slowly killing yourself on a precarious economic model

    Wake up Gameforge !

    Wake up Gameforge !

    it's been over a year
yet, you still play this game and maybe buy those boxes

  • It's too tempting when you see the costumes you want sinces X days/ months are in those lootboxes and it's the "only" way to get them , not directly in the store... necessarily people buy lootboxes in the hope to get them, especially when you know that they will disappear one day and that there will be no other way to get them apart wait for them to return in the store one day. (or will be overpriced (DZ) when they will disappear)

  • I am very angry at the moment, too. I imagined that Gameforge would put the dyes in the shop directly like the bank tickets or brooches and the like. But no - they put the dyes in a lootbox, too.

I'm not sad about the outfit, because I gave up any hope long ago. I know, that I will never have some outfits because of RNG and wheel. It's cruel to see other players, who have a lot of money or really luck, in the game with these outfits.

But that is the business model of Gameforge. They won't stop till SoulWorker isn't profitable anymore. :(

"This was all a cruel angel's thesis from the start..."

  • Well anyway the news post has been deleted for some reason, and somehow I understood the costume would be available for purchase with however all the dyes remaining inside lootboxes.

That would be a good compromise... If it happen...

  • Oh thank you so much scamforge for taking all of my money, i can now get my favourite costume ! Oh wait ... i just spent so much money, just to get these armor chips

It's time to stop the bleeding, don't you think ?

Yeah it is time but i dont think Gameforge cares about our opinion... i still hope they put the Fashion in the Shop for 3k sc.

I also think that GF doesn't care about our opinions, i just wanted to fully express my disatisfactions with their actions regarding "SW cosmetics" and support those who are fighting against this total scam of random boxes and completely stupid wheel of fortune.

I have sent who knows how many tickets to GF to explain to them that it might be more profitable to put all cosmetics into a single, one time purchase but i know very well that they don't care because the player's opinion is not a priority for them.

Is the only solution to leave this EU version of the game or can GF give a proper answer to our disatisfactions ???

To be honest, i already think which choice is the right one, or can you still give me a proof that i'm wrong ...

  • huh, i dont want to give someone proof? the only thing i can proof is that Gameforge dont care about the Sw Community...

  • Yee they want money like everyone else but it is not necessary to scam the community :cursing::cursing::cursing:

It cant be scam when the game is free.

They just look the game of other form... and you can play it as you want.

I would have liked they put more attention to the community but still the game is free.

    u serious?

SoulWorker is based for fun, but you can not search for more than there is, because you can not, but do not say it is a scam when you are free to play, recharge, or not to recharge, or not to play, simply if you think so , you can say it in another way, for example, saying that the game needs a change to get dresses or boxes in another way with events, but for example if you play something for free , you are free to stay or leave whenever you want, a scam It would be if you had to pay to play and the content of the game was similar to this one.

MFW you don't understand how bad monetization harms a F2P game. It's not only about the costumes it's an overall view i.e: Catherine Akasha Card which was put into a limited akasha box. with only 3 "limited akasha cards". In conclusion a P2W player can gain any gameplay advantage over his non-paying peers.
Long story short gameforge made it so you can pay for convenience. On a certain level I agree that cosmetics aren't a "necessity" and no one grabs your money from pockets for it. Games are no longer what they used to be simple and fun.

The commonness of in-game micro-transactions, as "spinning wheel", "loot boxes" should raise concerns about the use of psychological principles that mirror those often found in casinos and gambling games. What are these psychological principles about? Most games companies hire behavioral psychologists to exploit and manipulate the addictive nature of human, easiest targets and most vulnerable are the kids.
By adding these gambling features they keep you hooked. The damage on a psychological level is significant and it has already been proven by science that youth are vulnerable to gambling. What is SW's most players age? Exactly teens in their 20s. Gambling features will never disappear until it's justified by a lawsuit. Until then this intentional strategy created by game developers will remain the best way to get players deeply engaged in shit "F2P" games.
