It would have been logical to at least inform us before the "bug" patch was applied. Never in my life have I played a game where a "bug" which such an impact of the economy ran for a week then suddenly a change of cards. I understand it's holiday, but seriously either LG is the crapiest developer ever or your communication with the devs is below sea level.
As for the SF bug in most of the cases an easy fix is to switch to pre-advance photo album. Pretty sure it ain't quantum physics to solve that shit. Needless to say that in game mechanics should be a priority....

In which case we (the whole community I believe) strongly suggest LG to properly test the content they're forwarding to our version so neither we nor GF needs to report such 'bugs' that are painfully obvious for anyone who has actually tried out the event. And in the case of eggs, when the damage has already been done, what sane person would waste the effort to make the situation even worse? Should've just rolled with it.
As for GF and Us, there was no communication that a bug was even present, and GF released the event despite it. So there's absolutely no testing neither from LG nor from GF? I'm sure some of us here or over there would happily volunteer play-testing to prevent these disasters.They should test the events properly, but Testing "upcoming content" for bug will only postpone it and trigger some people in here. However, I still agree that events have to be properly tested and reviewed because if there are not, it can be too bad or too good which to the point it puts plays at an advantage.

Haha. this eggs bug probably help players more in general. Just that players that save their shells and didnt craft the eggs is now at disadvantage or pissed off because of the decision they made without knowing the eggs event is a bug.
And when all the sudden GF do emergency maint and fixed it, people that have a lot shells is butt hurt now, because now it will take them 25 times more shells to craft glowing eggs. So to be honest, it's not completely GF fault, everyone have equal opportunity to craft glowing eggs with 4 shells for a week. It's more like some ppl will think "IF i knew this is bug, and gf will fixed it, i wouldve use all my shells or craft more glowing eggs". that's like saying if only i knew this company stock will go up so high, i wouldve bought more of their stock back then. instead of saving my money to see if there is other better investment or not.

We understand that the sudden fix caused strong reactions, but we were actually informed by game developer Lion Games regarding this unintended bug in the event and they have provided us with the bug fix. In such cases, we release fixes as fast as possible.
Fix SF gauge? Nah, we'd better "fix" eggs.
Gameforge is not able to fix bugs by itself, we always rely on LG for bug fixes. Therefore said SF bar bug needs to be fixed by them and is already under investigation.
Most of the time, fixes for events are easier - that's why LG was able to found it and send the fix faster than for SF bar.Also during this special maintenance we released the fix for failed upgrade attempts, because LG was able to determinate the cause and fix it quickly and we could fix both during same maintenance.
We are apologies for the inconvenience it may have caused, but we rely on LG to provide the fixes and once we receive them, we try to release them on live servers as soon as possible.

Even if i'ts true and the initial values were bugged, you allowed some players keep their rewards and others need to grind a lot harder to get comparable results, RNG aside.
You should not apply this "fix", it was a bad call and when you keep ignoring so many issues and bugs but rush to save economy it's even less forgivable.
I won't speak for all displeased players I talked with, personally I'm losing patience and slowly moving to other games.

That is the general progress dungeon-crawling games follow. It is overused and tiring, but it still the same meta that has been used ever since. What keep other people playing these game is not the actual dungeon content(very few exceptions), but other related content such as PvP, raids, etc.

Hence said SF bar bug should be fixed by them and is as of now under scrutiny.
More often than not, fixes for occasions are simpler - that is the reason LG had the capacity to establish it and send the fix quicker than for SF bar.
