Main issue is - they are not even trying or there would be some update like "we're working on this issue" otherwise.

They're working on it, just because they don't post "we're working on this issue" means that they're doing nothing. I'm pretty sure that they're working hard on trying to fix this. There are more and more people able to log in atm. It's not easy to find bugs like these that causes errors like not being able to log in even if it's 2018. Log in errors are harder to fix most of the time

I can log in, what I can't is to join channel(getting -35 error after game start). And thats only on EN server, other work just fine, even if laggy.
P.S:Just got past that looks fixed

I got past the -35 error code once as well but I got disconnected exactly 30 mins after that. Are you still in the game or did you disconnect too?

I downloaded the Steam version at home and had the same problem... I even went so far as to make a character in DE server to be able to play. Now am at my parents and am going to try the Stand-alone-launcher (not-steam) for in case this might work.
Ill update if I get the EN server work this way. (thats after I manage to download the game^_^)
edit. The EN server still doesnt work - even after different Install/launching method...

They are doing something. Every now and then when i try to log in I get "No server currently available".

Me and my friend has the same issue too.
Geez, I slept for 6 hours and hoped that they will fix everything.
Now I woke up and still can't play.. MEHHH -
When selecting servers NA is the only "Green status" server for me... and in there I actually get to play.
All the EU servers seem to have "white status" that I suppose means that those servers are down.... Login server seems to work since those appear in the list but ...
Edit... tested NA from EU Finland and the lag was REAL... cant play there

And i thought its white=very low load, green=good load, yellow - high load, red-full.

Well, I just woke up and still same issue. Then I suddenly logged in somehow. We are 3 people in town running around. All I see is people trying to connect and suddenly disconnect. Their image show up for 1 sec then poof, they are gone. Its like something happening and server is constantly dc'ing them. Even if my friend tries (we are in the same party) it shows his HP bar then poof gone again. Something is going really bad. No hope in me left to be honest.

I have no certainty on this... this is all I can think off since I cant even get to EU servers that have "white status"

Thats answer to NA lag post on steam, yet NOT A SINGLE WORD about EN server and people can't even get past character screen there.
And they even added this post to that "Servers available again" pinned topic:

Especially in the NA server, of course its NA server, how can we report lags in EN if we cant even play, this is pissing me off so bad.

Well as far as I see there is no maintenance or something, They are not even trying to fix the server. I can still play, no server-down error or nothing. And somehow after trying for long time my friend succeeded in logging in. Please take a look at this server. Same issue for really how long? No explanation has been made.
