Bad news for NA?

    Edit: I know this post will be neglected by most who pay attention to forums, since It does not concern the majority(EU) and only the minority(NA). Have fun EU, and good luck.


    The upcoming server merge has been what kept me in SW for the past 3-4 months, and as a NA player,

    "My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined."

    The biggest issue we had in SW NA was, still is, and will be the lack of active players. This issue was promised to be resolved by the staff, but unfortunately not for NA.


    While I understand that there is the whole issue with PING if NA were to join EN as well, but leaving us out of the merge just means the problem will not be solved. We should be at least offered a chance to move our characters to EN If the player does not mind the delay. The community has been small enough for all to know each other, and I have only heard them talking about moving on and leaving this game behind upon being informed about this EU-only merge.


    Few months ago, I heard about the server merge news and put some effort into gathering and meeting people from EN, DE, FR, PL, thru their forum guild advertisements here, made a Discord server for that purpose, became friends with them and had been looking forward to play the game with them soon. But I guess all of that was for naught.



    I guess this is a goodbye from NA endgame players.

    It really looks like Gameforge has decided they're just going to let NA die. The server has been a ghost town for months now and the news today just means we're the only server not getting to play with the entire rest of the GFSW population.


    NA has always been neglected. We are the only server to consistently see random down time and suspiciously always end up with the lowest number of winners every 'contest' so far, but this is just a final FU from the GF staff.


    My suggestion: If Gameforge is unwilling to manage the NA server in a way that keeps it alive or provide account transfers to EU then GIVE UP PUBLISHING RIGHTS IN NORTH AMERICA AND PASS IT ON TO SOMEONE WHO'S ACTUALLY FIT FOR THE JOB. With the way you manage things the server is guaranteed to die in your care so the least you can do is hand it off and hopefully we have a chance at surviving. It's disgusting to see you hold this game hostage in North America while simultaneously killing it with neglect. Even a group of pirates has managed their server better than you've done with NA. What does that say for you guys when you're supposed to be an official company??? It's absolutely embarrassing.


    Also given that most everyone on NA knows eachother word going around on discord right now is that the players plan to either quit or perma switch to the private server. Hope this is what you wanted cuz it's certainly not how I wanted to see this end. Pretty upset right now.

    How do you want to WORLD BOSS ? and the pvp arena ?

    I rather not be able to do those than to have a dead server with 3 parties during Gronco buff, I could careless about Gronco and Rift Arena being based on European time. Like I said, my suggestion is that they should offer it for those who don't mind the downsides of being in an EU server while physically in NA.

    I'm sure the majority of NA players would gladly sacrifice world boss times in exchange for having more people to play with. Same could be said for PVP, as it's almost non-existent with very few people even queuing for it and no one takes PVP serious anymore in NA. In fact, there are many times where the queue doesn't even go through because no one queue'd, lol.


    As a player in the middle of the USA who played in KR way back and played in EN for the first few hours of beta, I rarely ever had an issue with ping/delay. So I doubt ping would be a big issue.


    I was also very looking forward to the possibility NA would merge with the rest of the servers because it really is a ghost town as mentioned above. Many players have lost incentive to come online anymore not only because of the lack of content, but the lack of players to party up with.


    On another note, I feel pretty bad for newer players who come to NA expecting any help because the community here seems to be divided by a huge gear gap. Majority of the geared people keep to themselves without much desire to help newer players. And with barely any players in the first place, you could imagine how hard it is for someone who's trying to gear up for end game to find a party.


    I hope Gameforge reconsiders their choice of leaving NA alone while the rest of the servers merge. NA is dead.

    Another dissapointment, sad to hear that NA is suffering so much when it was the biggest server at the start. There is no patch today either, because the staff is jerking off somewhere.

    There will be only two servers after the merge, i'm sure a lot of people gonna leave or join NA or EU server, and a lot of people will comme back on this game too.


    So, why not play both ?

    What a good idea didn't think of that, i can buy Lootboxes on 2 Servers then :)


    No actually i think all Server should be merged when i see how NA is still dying and will be dying after all EU servers are merged.

    If you goal in this game is to buy rng costmetics, feel free, but that's not the case of everyone.

    NA and EU servers will never merge or we are all gonna suffer of lantencies.

    What is more derisory, a weeks ago i read a post, where players get banned for DZ BOT, and, not only get unbanned, also they give them SC AND ITEMS, YOU KIDDING, RIGHT?!

    There were innocents banned during the "wave ban" of the gold sellers. Those innocents got SC and items to compensate the ban, that's all. No gold buyer got SC.
