You are not asking the right question. It is necessary to ask whether the new class will be added already balanced after the merger, or will it be balanced afterwards and give everyone a roll of reset skills for the correct distribution of skills.
-
You should play on EN
-
Welcome to the game, my advice is: play on EN

-
Yeah as the board admin said with a big smiley face play EN because Gameforge just gave NA a death sentence and they know it. They may even find it funny too.

You should not play on this Server. I mean on the Gameforge version of the game.
-
Yeah, better be playing on an illegal version that will eventually shut down because it is *drum rolls* NOT LEGAL !
Anyway, SoulWorker is a great game, we're suffering a cold period because there is little to, no content added in a long period. It should be better after a while, considering how the korean version is implementing content.
I hope GameForge is planning to catch up their version as to maintain a great amount of active players.
By the way, all the "players" whining about GameForge on this forum haven't played the game in months. Don't listen to them and make your own opinion. Might be hard to find active players, but still possible.
Yeah play on EN server since every european servers will be merged to it on august 1st. -

I can't tell if you're deliberately lying or really that ignorant but I for one still play every day and the upset about Gameforge is totally valid. WE HAVE HAD NO NEW CONTENT SINCE THE SPRING AND WILL HAVE NO NEW CONTENT FOR THE DURATION OF THE SUMMER. On top of that the players of NA have been banking on this merge to bring some life to the NA server again but the most recent announcement basically said "haha nope you get to continue your lonely death while we merge together all the other servers with EN" (and EN already has like double the population of NA). It's absolute incompetence and the outrage is 100% justified.
Also I'd love to see the private server shut down but the fact that these guys update almost as fast as KR puts out content really makes you wonder wtf takes Gameforge (an actual company) so long. It's almost like content is deliberately being slow-walked for whatever lame reason.

Bad luck, a lot of people dont like this merge for one or another reason but this is what GF decide to do, and is what is going to happen dont mather if you like it or not.

No one said illegal version you weirdo, there are more then just 2 Versions of the Game he / she could even play on JP.
And i still think it's not worth to start playing the Gameforge Version if you are new to the Game, i would like to have new players but also don't want them in Forum in like 3 Months writing the same stuff we already did.
They don't neet to get the disappointment like we did that such a great Game could be so worse because of 1 Publisher.
I mean Gameforge said they can't update faster because of Lion Games but how can we know if that is true lol
Also they said that we get the updates 1:1 but that is bullshit i mean look at the Akasha Update..

Yeah play on EN server since every european servers will be merged to it on august 1st.all players should support each others and not encourage the illegal server. If we all stick together we can make a change, just don't give up and move to another server. Soul worker is an awesome game from its gameplay to character design everything is cool about it!

ok... I guess I'll wait until the merge is done then i'll decide if i'll play on this server.

First, we all don't know how active EN server will be after fusion. We hope best, but for now I can tell you that the DE (german) server is kinda dead. Best thing to do is search a guild as fast as you can and bet to god that ppl in there won't judge you because of your sh1t gear, because you are new. Running dungeons with new ppl is pain in the ass. Bad aspect of game: if you're new and you don't want bother other ppl with your "noob-gear", you can't farm for yourself. It's not possible without help of others, you need them. (Talking about Endcontent, Lvling-Up is possible by yourself... alone).
Now the other thing is to analyse what kind of a player you are. Do you care about costumes that much? Are you farming them? Then you wan't go that far, because costumes that are new/patched while ago will be put into the fking-RNGjesus-wheel. One spin costst you 10 euro. To show you in what demensions we are: friend of me spend 500 euros and didn't got that costume he wanted. So he bought it from another ppl for like 100 euros. He spent totally 600 euros for some pixels. Thats the dimension in which you will fall when you care about the newest costumes. On the other hand, old ones you will be able to afford, because they are not that expensive anymore.
Maybe you're shocked right now, but take a breath. Lvling up will be fun and getting gear is also fun, if you don't hate bit grind that much. Make friends is very important, because it a MMO and not a solo-game. Also what I can say is that enhancement your gear is not pain in the ass. It's kinda easy to get +9 weapon. So you will not have problems to be strong in very short time (2-3 months). To get strong is also very fun do so, when you have friends you play with. Some ppl will cry that's not true, but in comparison to other games its enhancement is really easy.
And to come to the end: its action-combat will not be boring, even after a while. You'll test out many characters, because they are all fun. Also its game grafics is very good. Costumes are well designed and you will love em to mix up. Emotes are also well done and if you love anime, you will feel at home. Don't be shocked that some costumes will be very expensive, most of em are affordable and surely you will have more than one costumes after a while, trust me

I'm kinda not playing it anymore, because I will soon hit the 3k hours, but I do not regret any moment. Ppl that still playing this game are ppl who loves to be with others. Feels like they use SoulWorker as WhatsApp. They staying around the city and chat around or chill in their own houses.
And also what I can tell you is, that the community manager threaa and maxrojale seems very nice. They reply often times if you have concern. But also we, the community, have the rightness of being mad, because it's true that the game lacks of content.
AND stay away from pvp. I'm telling by my personal experience. Its pvp opens you plenty of room for frustration. Its pvp-system is very bad done and gave me personally very bad taste of game in the end.
Try game out after the fusion... at start you'll love it and at end you will hate-love it.
