    Also the post lock thing is probably just a rule for moderators, no need to get so pissed about it. Say if you really were double-posting and after the fact edited to look like you didn't or deleted it, heck idk the logic behind it

    There would be a time stamp on it showing that you edited it after the fact, so how would that help you?


    And even if I did double post and I went back and edited it to get rid of the double posting, isn't that a good thing if double posting was considered bad? So why would you lock the posts??


    If I wrote something offensive and she had to edit my post, I can see why she needs to lock the post to prevent me from adding back offensive material and undoing her work. But there was nothing wrong with what I wrote and she never edited my post, so there was no reason to lock it.


    I just don't like it when people misuse their powers like this.

    If we simply "waited" for the NPC loyalty system it would have never arrived.


    We had to make as much noise as possible and show them the demand (for a feature that was supposed to be in the game in the first place).


    So waiting is a bad idea.


    That said my prediction is they will try to stretch this out til the release of Chii and Dipluce hoping somehow those patches will revive NA (pro tip: they won't and NA will be back to dead 2 weeks later). Only then, after the wave of return players leave again, will Gameforge actually do the right thing and merge NA. It's pretty damn inconsiderate being jerked around like this by a company that should have known how to handle this better. Recently it's made me regret investing so much in this game only to be treated this way in return.

    That's not what people usually mean by double posting. If her problem is that I did not combine my 2 unrelated posts into one, then she should have said so. But there was still no reason to close/lock my posts to begin with, which is what I was objecting to.


    I wasn't planning to re-edit those posts anyways, but I objected as a matter of principal. I don't like it when people misuse their powers like that.

    The issue in the first place was that EU was wrongfully split. That issue has now been resolved and the NA players are crying because they were 'left out'?

    I'll break it down for you.

    NA is a continent. It has it's own server.
    EU is a continent. it has it's own server.

    That's actually how simple this is. Everything is how it should be. One continent per server. Just because NA isn't doing as well as EU doesn't give you the right to cry and demand another merge. It's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen from an MMO community and it goes far above and beyond the usual levels of stupid that I'm used to seeing.

    This has got to be a troll post. "One server per continent" is not an argument. You could have claimed "ping" but this has been debunked 100 times now. Try to keep up cuz you calling people idiots is probably the most ironic thing I've ever read on this forum.

    Ok, sure. I have no idea what you're trying to get at here but each continent having its own server is not an issue to be complaining about. It's completely unrelated. Yes, we have two servers for two continents. And...? Under ideal populations and situations, no one in NA would be complaining about a merge with EU and it would be as you've said. However, it seems you have no idea nor do you seem to care about what our issues are in the NA server despite it being obviously slapped all over this forum recently.     I'm constantly scratching my head as to why there are people who don't want NA to merge with EU. There is literally nothing for you to lose as an EU player. If anything, there are only benefits as you would have more players in the game to interact with and your ping would remain the same. My only assumption is that some EU players just dislike NA for personal reasons, as I have yet to see any valid reasoning as to why EU would not benefit from having NA players play with them.

    I'm literally speechless and have no words for this statement. The irony and stupidity in these two sentences make me want to bash my head on a wall. What are you even going on about with "rights"? I am so confused and tilted at trying to understand why you've posted this outside of trying to start flame. If you don't care about what happens to NA (judging by the tone of this post, you kind of don't), I suggest you not make yourself look stupid by blabbering on about geography and handing people a list of what rights they do and don't have.


    If you don't agree with what we want, you can simply just post you're reasons as to why in a civil manner. But sure, call us stupid when you yourself aren't even addressing the issue we're having.


    Gameforge made the decision to host for NA. Therefore, they have every responsibility to take care of and listen to what its consumers in NA want just as much as with EU. Whether they agree to our feedback and requests for a server merge is up to them, not you.

    I would suggest to ignore the troll (either is a troll or 5 years old. Or just bored) to avoid this thread being closed.

    As Keita said, raising our voices is the only way to be maybe heard by GF, unless they want us to migrate to the forbidden server.

    with your logic then each continent around the world should have their own server. asia, africa, north america and etc..... which no "individual"publisher would do because its very expensive and waste of money and resources. please support our decision/demand!!

    If a server is doing bad, it's best to merge servers with active population. If bad for both, it's even more dire to merge them all. Closers for example, had NA & EU in which they eventually merged both into a new world server. I don't see why GF wouldn't do the same thing moving all EU and NA into a new server. Also, whether they merge or not is up to GF. Don't start calling people idiot just because they have different opinions than you.

    well gf won’t merge NA/EU whatever we say lol I just checked KR version update plan and it looks so great tho. we still not getting corrupted record “1”... and gf thinks chii is a huge content... so I guess they won’t update anything next 2-3 months again. Everything is going extremely slow. no wonder why ppl keep complaining. no contents after scp for 3-4months lol amazing

    I got really bored this weekend and decided to take a measurement of the total number of listings during Gronco time NA v EU. This is not a good measuring tool since there will be duplicates from people remaking parties but the results are literally day and night that the inaccuracies do not matter towards making the point that NA is dead.


    I started taking screenshots 5 minutes before Gronco time and took screenshots in a 30minute timeframe since expired listings will get removed. IGNs removed for privacy since I don't want the screenshots deleted.


    method: open up team finder and do not refresh for 30 minutes.


    NA:

    Result:


    NA - 5 (I did screw up and let one listing expire before taking my screenshot)

    EU - 42
