Picked Haru, no regrets.
What’s your opinion on the game so far?

EXP Rate is way to low
Forced to play with others to even get some decent exp
Why do they always do this fiddling with % where they have no clue what they're doing
im already tired of this can't be botherd
I don't think the EXP you get from mobs is too bad however, I do think quest EXP should be increased, a lot..

This. I get more exp running manic mode than completing main quests???

The game is overall fine. I enjoy it a lot if you don't consider the lack of information based on the wipe.
Gameforge tries their best beside on this one topic so I'm happy. -
I love the combat, But i have my dislikes with the energy system.

I'm enjoying the difficulty the game "can" bring if you're not used to your character / soloing and choosing to play carelessly.
I do find team-play kind of boring since bosses burn down so fast but the EXP bonus is too good to pass up and it's low level dungeons right now. I'm excited for what the end-game content is going to be like with parties.
Manic (Idk if that's a typo and should be Maniac) mode is fun...trying to hash out like 3 sets of combos before you have to dodge again on a boss is great and the rewards that come out of it is worth it.
Sadly I want more ways to get Akasha cards :v cause my RNG luck is shit... -

Sadly I want more ways to get Akasha cards :v cause my RNG luck is shit...My inner grammar nazi and auto correct always reads "Manic" as "Maniac," but the game is actually really nice solo specially when dodging is key. Also I am loving the fact that you get a unique piece of equipment just about every single Manic dungeon run. It's fantastic. If I were you just complete the district zones to get that level 5 akasha card( which I'm sure that's what you were doing) My Luck is pretty lame as well so there's not much to be said.

holy crap yea its so rewarding to do maniac* mode haha~
hopefully it stays that way!and yea that's my usual plan with Akasha card hunting Q_Q!
good luck with your RNG as well :> -
I'm loving it so far. I chose Lilly because I'm a sucker for scythes. I wish the scythe wielder were Stella or Haru, though. I'm not very fond of Lily's personality. Silver/white hair + scythe and you got me.
I wasn't expecting to hit the grinding part so soon, the story + side quests alone won't let you automatically hit the required level to advance the story. The game is also not easy, which is a good thing. Manic difficulty truly is fucking hard.
My only pet peeve so far is, I wish they would implement a way to revive party members. Dying, not having respawners and then getting kicked out automatically by the system after a while sucks. Let party members spend some of the in-game currency to ress a party member. We lost a Manic difficulty clown fight because we were wiped out one by one. If we could ress others we could've won. -
Enjoying it. Well, I did play the JP server several months back, but I've since stopped after reaching the end game and not really finding much to do. It's nice to play and finally understand what's going on in the story.
On that note, though, I'm still a bit miffed that the rubberbanding when getting hit is still there. But, that might just be my connection.

If I'm remembering it correctly, there is an item like that. Though, those were pretty valuable that you'd only see it being used on raids. I do wish it used in-game currency or maybe give Stella a revival skill(on a pretty long cooldown, just so it's a safety net and not completely negate the consequences of dying).
But, then again, as you progress and get better gear, it'll get harder to die. Especially if you have a Stella or two healing the party consistently.
