    Well COVID-19 certainly wouldn't be helping the situation, but it is quite clear that it isn't the real underlying cause.

    i mean a rather small mobage company like Azur lane kept regular updates and events despite China being hit the hardest during January and February.


    The good thing about digital industries like gaming, is that they can be mostly done at the comfort of your own home unlike heavy or service industries. And at a time when everyone is under lockdown or business/school closure, it is the best time for Gameforge to put out new content and events to attract the massive amount of people stuck at home with nothing to do but play games.


    Corona virus needs to stop already... So many people are affected by this and that's not counting the people that are actually sick 😫


    And for that reason I'm gonna stop replying in this thread for a little bit. I'd imagine the CMs just frown when they wake up every day and see that this post always has something new in it and they're working from home now on top of the coronavirus stuff

    Of course I'm not trying to demand anyone to put themselves at risk in order to bring updates. Social distancing save lives and that is more important than any game.

    Just pointing out that the COVID-19 isn't the reason why it has been delayed and isn't really a excuse GF can use since the delay existed way before.

    Since basically everything a CM has to do can be done online from home that shouldn't really matter. But don't worry about the everyday-part. Threea probably has other games to handle so she'll be checking on Soulworker maybe once every two weeks, judging by the frequency of non-automated posts.

    Yup yup I understand ^^ I know they can't use the coronavirus as an excuse for slow updates. They still would have been slow even if this didn't happen anyway... But yeah, coronavirus isn't helping anyone right now.

    That wasn't the exact point I was trying to make though. Yes, CMs can work from home and read all of our messages pretty remotely. They already know how much we want new content (at least I hope they do; look at how many posts are in this thread and the other ones too).


    But how do we know if every single one has internet access at home? Is it stable? They're likely using company equipment to get their job done at home (laptops, keyboard/mice, monitors, whatever they need to get the job done). This issue isn't with only the CMs, too. The CMs can only forward our complaints to more GameForge employees and LionGames themselves. Every single one of those people are impacted by coronavirus in some sort of way.


    Probably not everyone can work from home because they might have limited resources as is. Imagine you're a company who has all of your employees show up to a physical work place. Now all of a sudden, all of them have to work from home. Do you really have enough monitors/laptops/desktops to send people home to do remote work? Do all of your employees have reliable internet at home?


    The updates for this game is abysmally slow and they need to do something about it. I'm in complete agreement about that.


    ...But just for a little bit, I'm gonna stop posting. I will be back though when coronavirus calms down a bit~ This will be for sure my last post for now in this thread ^^

    I would say that what you thought is an interesting project... Too bad it's completely useless for a game that gets content after at least 3 months. For the insults to Gameforge I think that they wanted it: too slow to publish everything (just see Chii's adv) and don't give attention to the community. Honestly, Soulworker is a game without a real endgame (rightly, it has a pleasant and constantly evolving story) and needs constant attention that GF isn't able to give to its games. Just see the Kr server which, even without content for 1-2 months, can insert interesting events, moreover they have 2 scheduled updates per month, the first one considered "smaller" than the last. Said that, I'm sorry to say it, you can try anything you want but the opinion on the GF server will not change.
