Energy points - how to reset/reset time (merged topics)

  • so the game is out like what a week? How are you able to have "many many 100-instant-energy bags"? Itl take me like 2~3h max to clear my 2XX energy and if i miraculously get to open the shop il chug the the potion right away and its also gone in like 1h cause i have to run manic to level for the next main quest.

  • Can someone tell me why my Stella has 266 Energy yesterday and I log on now, its back at 200? I don't get how this works. I didn't even play during that time. I sat on a mat, afk'd then logged off.

  • Since this client was SW KR-based, most, if not all, of the other mechanics coming from KR has been inherited.

One of them is a forced down-to-200-Energy reset on every Monday's Energy reset.

...Of course, there's probably the option for SWNA to change to something like JP has, which has nothing like the forced down-to-200-Energy reset every Monday, should Gameforge choose to. I hope they do get rid of that forced reset.

  • There is always an intended way to play a game, and it's made obvious by what provides the lowest form of resistance, while the ways you have difficulty with would not be the intended way. Take shooters, most allow for melee attacks, but trying to play one as a brawler/hack n' slash game won't work nearly as well, and isn't nearly as supported as playing using ranged weapons, which is why they are classed as shooters. As I said, by playing multiple characters, and not always trying blast through content as quickly as possible, I've always had more available play time, than I needed, or even more than 24 hours of potential play time in a day. Furthermore there tends to be bonus systems, and/or shared grinds that are best, or only done using multiple characters, which again points to that be the intended way of playing. Finally, at least in the past when people complained about these systems, publishers/developers would always tell people to play more than one character.

You're trying to push your "it's only there to make money" argument through the various posts here. But as I said, anything in online games can be used to make money if a company wanted to. Then you completely ignore what others say as you don't want to agree with it, since you don't want to play how these games were made to be played.

  • Learn how to quote properly. The current cash shop isn't selling ANYTHING for money, everything in it is 100% free, making it basically just an event, so you can't draw any such conclusions from it, yet you just keep railing against the price of things, and what they're selling, when they're not even charging for anything. There's various games in this genre which don't sell stamina potions, those would only be obtained from in-game content, and/or events, from what I understand, SoulWorker in other regions is one of those games. Also yet once again, I've never had to even once buy stamina/energy/whatever for one of these games, as I do play alts, so can have more hours of play available, than there are hours in the day.

Then your prior claim that you were just shortening what I said was just as much utter nonsense. You started that post off by insulting my post, followed that by responding with your claims that "it's all about making money," and followed that with what you claimed was just shortening what I said, when you instead commented about how if it was there to limit addiction, it'd be an account bound system, when I didn't even say that, which means you can't claim it was an abbreviation. It makes no sense at all to claim you were shortening my post, it instead was clear that like so many others, you just didn't read a post, yet still insist on responding to what you think it said.

If you hate stamina systems so much, don't play game with them, stick to those grindathon games that can also sell you the stuff you're suppose to be grinding for, and can try to manipulate things to get people to do so. You just seem completely incapable of admitting you could be wrong about anything, and have absolute tunnel vision regarding this insistence that the system is all about forcing people to spend money. If you respond with more of the same, I just won't waste my time in responding.

  • The only people worried about this are no-lifers anyway.....

    What makes you say that?

Because i played all day on Saturday and never came close to running out of energy. If you're running out you're not doing anything else with your life.

If you are doing high level content it takes alot more energy. Plus the rng for items makes it very energy intensive. So they charge you for energy..then place in ridiculous rng to make you use it all...then they take it away from on a reset. It's bull man...doesn't have anything to do with no life.
