No. This game really makes you realize how bad you were without one. I saw a lot of people facetanking bosses and dying in one boss combo. They don't even know what dodge is. It was hilarious.

I dont think lvling should be easy. Lvl 10 isnt that low if you think about the cap of 55.
I also was/am behind in lvl but farming dungeons rewards you with gear that you can sell or equip, i made close to a mill yesterday just by lvling and selling gear.
Especially since the game got harder after the update in the east you really need to gear up
