I recently just returned to soulworker after not playing for a long time, and it seems my level rewards after every 5 levels are broken, I don't seem to be receiving any new weapons or armour or any box or anything to give me any such items. I'm unsure if this is just a bug with my particular game and I should just reinstall, but right now my character is extremely underpowered as I just assumed maybe at level 25 I didn't get any new armour or anything and now I'm at lvl 30 and I didn't get any from my box that time either and battles are becoming very hard, I figured something was up.
I don't receive full level rewards every 5 levels

By all chance, did you resume playing the game with an old character? Cuz if yes, this one will never benefit from those new rewards, since it has been created before the levelling rewards revamp.
You either need to create a new character so that you can receive those rewards, or do without and progress as it was before this revamp.

I see, yes I did continue playing with my old character. Are the only things that were changed the stuff you get from levelling rewards? So once I reach max level it won't matter too much anyways, or should I restart because all my rewards within the game will be broken?

At level 55 you receive Terminus gear (basically non storable Aurith with fixes stat lines) that makes leveling from 55 to 60 a bit easier.
Before lv 55 you can use green or blue gears that you get from drops - its enough for leveling but it will get slower onwards.
If you don't wanna start over just buy Aurith gear from market with dzenai, so you can continue leveling. The rest of the leveling rewards arent that significant and you will have to farm gears at lv 60 anyway, whether you get these boxes or not. So if you are already in Ruin Fortress maybe don't go back. Unless you are like lv20 then starting over would be a better option.

if your character isnt in the 40's, i advise you to start a new character is will be easier to level with the reward gears+ some other useful rewards
