Inevitable Lilly buffs when thread 2.0

    Hey everyone.


    Previous thread got locked by a bully while no one was watching, so we need a new one.


    We reached the content where KR already had a buffed Lilly. So basically GF is going out of order delaying Lilly's (and now Jin's) "we want to make sure to keep our characters up to date with the recent powercreep named Chii" buffs.


    Lilly has been trash since release with some spots of mediocrity.


    As far as I know the reason for getting Lilly's buffs so late was because you nuked the loli and like 1 skill didn't work on Iris and Iris gamers made it out to be a huge issue to be something like 150% stronger than pre-buffs instead of 155%. So you announced that you won't do content out of order. But now we are clearly getting out of order content at the expense of Lilly and Jin gamers, what gives?


    I don't even play the game anymore, but having my character screwed like this, I don't even want to come back.

    Out of order content, indeed.


    KR had Primal Hero before DIPLUCE HORIZON.


    They had Innocent Daydream Second before DesireWorker.


    And Abyss Lounge + Lily Rework + Ranking Rework + Dismantle UI Buff before Dipluce Horizon Part 3.


    The fact that we get some QoL things like Boss Door Notation, improved Enhancement, or Trashbert's Escape doesn't make up for the fact that important things are being ignored, and leading to the game bugging out as a result.

    Oh yeah. Jin + Red (All Gear) Repair Kits came with the Dipluce Part 3 update in KR.

    Honestly I don't mind we get QoL stuff early and unrelated content out of order. However, we should get important fixes and balance changes first, especially when certain balancing changes are done based on associated content.


    Lastly, I don't really care that they update the game out of order, it's just that gameforge said that there was a lot of bugs due to updating things out of order, and code merging. Also yes, the elephant in the room, Lion games aren't made of exactly the best programmers to begin with so the game's code is inherently prone to issues. Regardless, gameforge said they won't do it again, yet they still do it. Things bugged supposedly due to Chii's early release but we get stuff way after Chii out of order.

    A bit of a minor nitpick overall, but don't tell us about not giving us out of order updates anymore when GF still plans on doing so.

    there's a difference between trying and actually doing, people will complain either ways and even then they're still relying on liongames for a lot of stuff.

    Most of the complaitns come from players that don't even play or barely play anymore. Go figure.

    What do you mean they are trying? They managed to add what, desireworker and part3 in 6 months, what you know, KR managed to add as well? I'm fairly certain KR added more into the game than GF in the same timespan.


    I don't even care about content, I'm just sick of Lilly being trash.

    Yeah, maybe if your class had their clear time doubled and not having the ability to do a run without running out of SF every 15 secs even with Stella akasha equipped, you wouldn't be playing the game that much.


    It's even more frustrating because

    A. Haru, Iris and Stella already got their upgrades WAAAAAY before, making Lilly even worse comparatively, we can also add that old Haru and Iris were probably better than current Lilly.

    B. This is the patch where LG decided to address most, if not all of Lilly's issues. Low damage numbers on her skills, high SF costs, high cooldowns, long animations. I might be biased here, but this character update is probably the most impactful out of them all, not just balance-wise, but just in general quality of life.

    as long as they're not as severe (like 5+ districts being bugged) or useful npcs (like trisha) then it's not really extreme even though it's still bad

    I did agree with you that we should get balance change updates first or at least in association with the content releases they are tied to. But I was replying to the person that said people get triggered by new update.

    My opinion is this:

    We shouldn't be triggered by an update not being what we want. At this stage getting update within a few months time is already an improvement from the year long AoV to HH wait. Something is better than nothing.

    We should ask for getting important updates, but not by saying that the updates we do get is 'bad.'


    Getting an update is good, but we should also get the much needed buffs for Lily and Jin.
