I can not login EN/NA server (merged topics)

  • Greetings, community management and human logistics expert! I would like to inform you that we have a shortage on AI functions.

not sure what kind of tepid burn you're going for but yeah, i used to be a CSM for a fortune 500 company and earlier than that, for a few various online gaming communities; anytime our services went down or were under emergency maintenance the first thing that happens is the first person to notice contacts maint. crews, and then us, so we could put out an update for our customers

so yeah i kind of am an expert with 7 years of experience! feel free to keep going "no guys really i must defend the company's middling community service" though, lmao

  • I would love for them to tell us when servers are down and a eta when it will be up.

Did you think they staged this?

Ik they didn't stage this. But as a company that is trying to please a audience that are going to spend money on you're game. It shouldn't be to much to ask.

It's difficult to please a mouse who asks for a cookie and then wishes for milk. The CoMas will give what they can but it will never be enough, apparently.

never enough? this is the first time I even came on this forum.

  • You're asking for a lot, you know? All of those mention working on server stability because the servers need stability, and have been getting constant improvements. They're totally noticeable. What kind of post do you need for it to count?

At first I was pretty ok with all this server issues because I thought that they were gonna do a wipe and start over. But now that they officially stated that they aren't wiping anymore. Just ruined my day. Coming home from work hoping to grind and and lv before reset just to find out servers are down. I'm already 3+ days behind in leveling................

Don't worry! It won't always be like this. It might be for a day or so more but don't get defeated so quickly!

LOL I thought that too until I got ingame and found out there were already people at lv 40+ .................

I guess I'm just too casual to understand.

  • i think we are forgetting that people also sleep. it isn't like they have someone there keeping a watchful eye on when the servers will crash or something. save the complaining during normal business hours. from 6am est to 5pm est.

and please remember, everything that is going on is basically a stress test of the server with NA being the big cheese. Patience people. go play mine sweeper or something.

Yeah, but you're also not the only one who has complained about "needed transparency"

  • To be fair... lots of games that come out usually have problems with server. It is a very common problem with smaller companies. It becomes even more difficult to run servers in other countries as well. Unless you're a behemoth like Blizzard or a company that produces AAA titles, you wont get stable servers. As for the cash shop it's there to help provide some sort of funding for them to upgrade their potato servers

  • This is a well known issue throughout the forum. Basically, their NA server is overloaded so it doesn't show up on the list. Check their sticky post of "Known Issues" at the top.

of course I'm not because they don't announce that the servers are down. Many people including me don't even know if the servers are down or not. They think the problems at their end. Why do you need to go forum to post about it or wait for someone else to post; just to find out that many others are having the same problem to figure out that the server are actually down?

  • Whatcha gonna do with the information? What level of complexity are you looking for? Do you understand networking? Do you know how to give an ETA on experimental hardware/software/firmware/etc? Hell, most of the time they can only give us an estimation on maintenance times. By the way, why do you want compensations for a server testing period where they are explicitly testing the server stability and working to fix it? Currently you are complying that you understand that this is an issue they are actively working on and hope to resolve before the official release. We're not at that compensation gimme-gimme phase yet.

Since when did I need to have a networking and IT background to be qualified to ask for a little transparency and explanation from a company that can't seem to stop screwing up? They can make whatever post they make as complicated or stupidly simple as they want to make it, as long as they actually communicate to us what's wrong. I just want to at least be able to confirm that the team in charge isn't a complete bunch of faceless monkeys.

And yeah, I don't think it's unreasonable at all to expect some form of compensation, because the big problem here obviously isn't just a simple bug or one of the usual little issues that normally pop-up during a beta, but recurring one that's actually stopping a large portion of the playerbase from playing the game. And I know you've been around for the disgusting lag and disconnects that plagued the NA server at launch.

  • FYI not trying to be offensive but I need pretty much a lot more. Considering that the game did release early (considering it skipped closed beta which a few Youtubers were handing out to end up being NULL). Also within a few days a Cash Shop problem was fixed, with priced items mind you added. Not sure for many people but for myself, I enjoyed playing this game and I would hate to see it be buried due to wanting to get money from players instead of what the players actually need tto play the game. Also I don't think it's asking for much. If a game developer chooses to release a game early and skip parts of the testing phases, is it not expected to be able to perform? Also not trying to be sound rude, it's only that a lot of games have shutdown which affected players more due to opening Cash Shops, lack of server stability, and rushing development.

  • It's not "released" it's more like a "soft" release. The cash shop took maybe a week or more to finally function properly. The shop isn't a difficult fix to begin with, just a low priority one, but probably came with better server stability and such. You also don't need to buy anything from the cash shop if you don't want to, don't know why you think they'd get buried for a cash shop, something every MMO has these days with even higher prices than this one. 80% of the updates have been for server stability, there have been maybe 1 or 2 mentions about cash shop on a unique basis. Why are you so tilted over the cash shop being released and being so stubborn not to accept the facts that this is what they've been doing from day 1?

Also, this is a really cool page that I think you should check out!

I haven't personally seen many games that release beta without and server/lag issues and all related problems. The games that do have an extremely small amount of problems are either gems worth trying/playing or those games are developed by behemoth companies. Game has barely been out 2 weeks. Give them time.

No excuse. A little over-time pay is to expected as an added expense the first MONTH of a game release. You don't need a full staff, naturally, but a few IT guys that can get paid to sit and play the damned game over night w access to the Twitter accnt isn't asking a lot.
