I can not login EN/NA server (merged topics)

    Seems like i've been super unlucky. Never been able to get into server from 26th of feb to now. Always been unavailable/overloaded or maintenance never lucky.

    1. They already have it listed that the server being majorly unstable is a listed and known bug. So no reason to even post about it in the bug section anymore. They are already working on it. The bug section is for new bugs and issues.


    2. The post in question and its subject matter is as i've said before a general statement and airing of grievances among fellow players mostly to blow some steam off and to pass time.


    3. The moderator in question can't do anything about the issue and isn't even doing his job correctly but is putting their own personal preference and agenda on the forum posts. By the guidelines set by GF we can make as many posts about this as we want.


    So please go sit in the corner before you come and try to talk about something you clearly show no understanding about what is going on or even being talked about.

    If this was the thread where all the other threads about the NA server being down were being merged into i would agree with you, but it is not. This is the first time threads about this have been merged into this specific thread, instead of the already merged threads that are still in the general discussion section but closed for "reasons". They say not to make duplicate threads but how are we supposed to do that when the threads about these topics in other sections keep getting closed after being merged into each other in the general discussion section.

    I don't know who shat in your corn flakes, but not a lot of people care for your trash attitude. You're harassing a forum moderator for essentially doing their job and they still have more to do to keep the forums tidy. You ought to think you should place the blame where it's due and not out of nowhere. They're asleep, and they most likely can't do anything about the outages.

    Imma be that guy and say weather does not kill servers at around the same time daily. Qnd stop with the they where sleep any game company or inet oriented company for that matter typically always has sometimes as little as 1 person manning the fort.

Sorry but a game that runs 24/7 SHOULD have 24/7 coverage i've seen game companies smaller than this one manage it so that they could keep in contact and watch for server issues AND given this is a "beta test" phase they most certainly SHOULD have someone watching it at all moments. For example if an exploit or something else is found or some huge error occurs it needs to be addressed immediately.


    As to my comments to the forum moderator. Um not the only one who thinks they are being unreasonable and only pushing along their own agenda once it was pointed out what they are trying to tell players to do and follow what is not in the guidelines of the forum. So sorry if set a "forum moderator" straight who claims to have been moderating forums since the age of 14... which i highly doubt any reputable game aside from maybe their own forum servers or enjin forums. Let them do. Especially when what they do makes no common sense.


    So before you go talking about small brains and looking to just try and insult someone. Maybe use your own brain for a change. I am sure it is something new for you. So don't try too hard. We don't want to fry what little is there.

    Reusing another's insult really just proves the point. And I agree that they should, and I've said this in multiple threads before. The fact is, there's a reason behind it, which you obviously skipped over.

    I don't believe the forum moderator really did anything too wrong, duplicate topics are redundant anyways.
    So if you really think you're setting someone in their place for merging threads, then words are not enough to make you see just how pathetic you really are.

    EDIT: And another thing, you seem to not know that a Forum Moderator does just that, moderate the forums. Stop people from being too bad or hurtful and the rest.
    On top of this, apparently merging topics in the places where they belong is a bad thing, and assuming they have some sort of personal agenda as the motivation to do this. There's nothing against duplicates or having to merge them, the issue is putting them in the right place, as someone stated before.
    There is a search function after all. Questions can be answered by searching, and if they can't be, post in the Help section. ??? It's almost as if you are ignorant to this too.

Yet tons of evidence and proof that the topic didn't need to be merged and was already in its proper place. Just goes to show how little you know about what your talking about.


    And actually the only reason i had a problem and then went on to prove to the moderator how and why they were wrong was because they were trying to enforce and complain at people as to why it should be merged like it was some kinda rule or guideline of the forums. When it is in fact not. So the only one in the wrong was the forum moderator.

    Oof, foolish. That's a neat insult. Ever thought to comment on the people that didn't care? You know, the overwhelming majority? That reallllly realllllly don't give a damn. Forgetting something like that is actually paramount to what you're trying to prove. A few people, you, and 2 - 3 others, have displayed dissatisfactory in this thread. (as far as the recent pages go, anyways.)

    I wouldn't really account that as tons of evidence as opposed to 2 people that stood up and the countless others that just want information, which they did get at the end of the day, even if it was lacking. Basically, you displayed your dissatisfactory to the forum moderator, who

    1. Had no info to give, they're a forum moderator. Even if they did, it's not their position.

    2. Was merging topics to their proper place, if you don't like it, too bad.

    3. Is supposed to keep the forums tidy for easy access. General Discussion has a lot of threads that are questions and, like I said before, have been already answered. Merging a server issue thread to another thread in help & bugs doesn't really harm anyone, as if they are looking for help or bugs, they should go there.

    If you really don't like these forums and their mods, you should've seen some of the other forums on some games, wew. Perhaps FFXIV forums have you spoiled, since they're pretty much handled with just deleting comments, giving suspensions and deleting hate threads.

    So you can try and look like a hotshot, but it doesn't really mean much when the majority of people don't care because it's not an issue. As it stands, bugs do deserve to be in this section, which is something you forget. People will post threads in general discussion, and they will be merged here, and be notified by the thread regardless, thus being brought back for info if they need it.

    But yes, I have an opinion I believe to be right, and yours wrong. Doesn't take a genius to figure that one out, I assure you.

    Yet again you fail to even grasp the subject matter or what is even being talked about. The posts that were merged were not bug reports or even questions but simple general topical discussions. As for keeping the forum tidy. It was perfectly tidy and in its own post where it belonged. It makes it more untidy and confusing to merge the post into a old post that as was stated wasn't even the same subject matter to being with. I think the forums are fine and have mostly worked as they should when volunteer moderators don't come in and press their own views on how it should be on the posts. Especially when their wrong and did something stupid.


    So go ahead and try and play the high and mighty card and yet again its a matter of you don't actually know whats even being discussed here and are obviously hoping for some kinda hero of justice medal from the forum moderator for speaking out when you in fact just look like an idiot. So by all means please don't reply cause with each reply you just look more and more foolish.

    I think the Forum Moderators are doing a pretty good job so far... for now. They will be really busy later when they are flooded with fake names trying to sell game services or something. Also how about that NA server? I wonder how all the other servers are able to stay online and NA is random.

    The reason the other servers are ok.... Is because the NA server makes up roughly the population of all the other servers combined. As has been stated in many other posts off steam numbers alone every time the NA server is down the population numbers drop by about half. So i think the issue is more we are stressing our specific server block beyond what they ever expected.
