Pay to win players like that guy Exped from that other game would want fatigue points but i dont think that would be a good idea, people would just finish the game in a week or two if they bought multiple fatigue pots thats not good for the population of the game in the long run

you dont finish an MMO ... if you mean story prog ...nobody cares about that and also thats the whole point of an MMO to get to end tier content and be the best why do u think people on FF14 race for world firsts ? its hype AF and crazy to watch /be a part of

i wouldn't say no one care about story in an mmo. if it have a real one. i for one will read/listen and enjoy it. and that not the whole point of an mmo. far from it. the point of an mmo is the community and social aspects. ofc gameplay important too. but it not as big as community and social aspects. if i only wanted gameplay there single player games/co-op for that.
Same as some others, I think I NEED this stamina system to keep myself healthy xD
I shouldn't be playing too much anyways,

You think the whole point of a mmo is to rush thru all the other content and reach endgame? did you ever think that MAYBE not everyone does that? theres some people that enjoy the lvling and the story i dont usually follow the lore but I might for this game, its not all about rushing content to reach endgame cause thats just just gonna make u tired of the game faster and thats boring as fuck
P.S: fizzle is that you? LOL

First you attack his view of rushing endgame and say that "Maybe not everyone does that". Then you continue by saying that its not all about rushing end game because it will "Make u tired of the game" and is "boring as fuck". Dont you see that you are doing the same thing here as you just flamed him for doing? you attack his way of gaming and are protecting your own way and your own views. Not everyone plays games the same way or enjoy the same things.. If Fatigue is removed you can still play the game the exact same way, enjoy the story, play at your own pace. Nothing changes for you. But he cant play it his way (If he wants to rush endgame content that is). So keeping the fatigue system hinders alot of people from enjoying the game the way they want to enjoy it but removing it does not hinder anyone from enjoying the game.. they can keep playing 1-2 hours a day if they want, with the option to play for a longer time some days if they feel like playing say 5 hours on a sunday afternoon.

Ok white knight calm down, i just told him my opinion about rushing, that i dont like doing it, i never attacked him for doing it LOL also if you want the fatigue system to be removed so everyone can finish the game in a week and then quit thats amazing for you, but IN MY OPINION i would like this game to be alive for a little longer than that ![]()

The fatigue system wont keep people from getting bored and quitting since those people are usually not very invested in the game in the first place. Systems that limit gameplay are just a polarizing concept in general for people these days, so in the end we would not only be losing the ones that get bored of the initial content that is coming on release but also the people who decide not to play the game based on there being a fatigue system.
If i had to choose i would rather see the fatigue system changed or dropped since it would be the least damaging change to gameplay that can be made. Plus based on what i have read in this thread it sounds like there is a entry limit on most if not all end game instances and if that is true there is no point in having a fatigue system. I could be misunderstanding that though and i have no experience with the end game of soulworker.
uhm there is no entry limit that i know, only steel grave that is a solo dungeon have entry limit but no raid / end games content have entry limits
to do "The Primal" you need ticket from Golden Citadel but ipotetically you can go on and on from GC to The primal indefinitely. well until you go out of FP.
they are raid of 4 ppl for GC 8 ppl for "the primal" and 20 / 30 minutes every run

ff14 story good and my fav ff game is 10. mmos with a good story are still rare. so when i find one i enjoy it lol. and ya people can limit themselves without a fag system.
I like the fact the CM’s still haven’t said anything about this.
Hey everyone, I'm noticing that the thread's getting a bit heated up; please remember that the NA version of the game has not fully released all details of how the stamina/fatigue system will work. Any updates we get about the game will be posted in Frequently Asked Questions about the game and I do suggest following along with this as you see fit.
I think it's great to have discussion about the topic, but let's try to refrain from clashing with each other in this kind of manner*
ItsZee Please also refrain from causing too much argument with the language.
Well Hello ... Let's make it clear english is not my first or second language so stay calm ![]()
Fatigue/Stamina system is on thing that I hate with passion in any game, lets make it clear so all that I say will have some context to it.
My work is time changing, no its doesn't mean that I work on different hours of day, its fluid time that I spend ad work. I may end up going for 8 hours to work when there is no Ship to load/unload or spend up to 60 h in five days or more, its part of my job so my family life/gaming time are limited by my job , I can have like anything from non time to play to 10+ h of free time, (yes my family time is just time that it take to get my guinea pig on floor and take care of it feeding... ^^) so anything that limit me make me hate it, and I don't want to hate this game. There is also problem of greed, something that ma never happen bout thx to EA/Activision there is more and more players that will move away when they see comments on steam that game has pay to progress in any way, shape or form, and this system is just that in mind of many. Last thing we need is negative reviews on starting weeks and months when game shape it player base. Yes if system wont be heavy limiting on my paly time then there is no problem , if they wont sell for real money some fatigue potions and instead give theme to some shop realistic amount of in game free currency then problem is no more.
That is all from me, thx for read, have a nice day/night and see you all in the game ![]()
Honestly, I like the idea of having a fatigue system in place. Keeps the economy in auction market stable.
Unless you guys want to end up like PW Rusty Hearts. That game died, unfortunately. :c

this game will die too cause of fag system. i mean unless you don't notice the fag system. then it could be ok. that fag system where you can still play but have reduced exp when you out of fag system sounds fine too.
