The Stamina Issue (merged topics)

  • lol, I doubt anyone actually complaining really spent all their FP, more likely here just for the sake of complaining, made it to the second town and still had 50 fp left, and I'm alone over there, nobody bother playing/spending fatigue right now cause of the lag, if I'm wrong, post a screenshot ? lol

You didn't get daily FP reset on NA server yet? We got ours in EU few hours ago. I end up with over 200 FP.

we got it about 2 hours ago

  • Just so you people who are comparing this to Closers because of the stamina system, the system should be left how it originally came. NA Closers attempted to change the stamina system because of who never played the game before complained about a stamina system. Now it's worse because of the weekly stamina they presented.

  • You all should be glad, now you'll be limited to leaving a few healthy hours to yourselves and possibly some friends to speak with when you're bored. Either way, complaining won't make the stamina disappear. Once it's there, it'll be there forever and as Hate said, they can make the matters either better or worse. (I smell money to extend stamina)

    "A few healthy hours."

Who the hell are you to tell me whether or not I should be 'healthy'? How I spend my time is none of your business and by no means should I be limited in playing the game. If I want to poopsock it I should have every right to.

Sorry, I forgot to mention my post was sarcastic. Please don't hate me. Don't be mean Q.Q

Your health is important to the devs so they don't get sued.

lol, that was funny. "I have every right" On a semi serious note. There actually is no right defined anywhere that guarentees you the right to spend as much time as you want on games. So there are no "protections" against a fatigue system.

But I get what your saying. "I want to be able to play the game more"

I work so It is hard to dedicate lots of time to the game, but I know I would be frustrated if I had the time and fatigue stopped me. then again I got really use to FGO and the Ap there, but you can "forever refill" if you spent precious quartz on filling your AP again.

I am just glad I can play.

  • I seriously hope they remove the stamina system, its going to be the #1 reason why I quit this game, if they keep it & don't do something about it..

Took me just over 2 hours to be out of stamina... this is the reason i quit the JP version

  • Sometimes limiting progression can be a form of progression in of itself. I remember playing SkyForge and min-maxing my character effectively using the resources I was given to their upmost.

I never felt like you didn't have anything to do either. Since playing efficiently took far more effort than just spamming you're daily/weekly allowance of stat gain.

While I hated the idea of limited progression in SkyForge before I got to experience the game. I quickly learned that the game simply wouldn't function without it.

I don't have enough experience with this game to claim if it's required in this sense. But sometimes progression limiters can add to a game rather than take away. Depends entirely on how the game is designed.

  • After completing district but before leaving to city, consumables should become locked. No reason for accidental use to even be a thing that happens.

The better 1500hp restore consumables should drop more iinstead of 500 hp when doing the 3rd zone missions

Nobody likes the energy system (pretty sure of this). This is a mechanic often found in super pay 2 win mobile games and your game will probably make more money without it. I honestly think you should get rid of this entire system. I know its a big change but the game will be better off for everybody without it. if you put this in here out of concern for people with a LOT of time on their hands farming too much ahead of someone, then put in diminishing returns on drop rates.

    ---OR----

keep the energy system BUT do not monetize it. I understand some gold farmer might make energy system necessary. So do not put cash shop item to allow you to get more energy than other people, or if you do, make it so whenever someone uses the item, everybody else in the city is free to utilize the boost. The energy restore mat from my understanding does this, but do not give a paid energy restore potion that only gives the player who uses it energy. it is a HUGE turn off to players when they cant do missions because they didnt spend money to get energy but someone who who spend money can keep doing mission. it is very very bad practice.

    Rhaegal.

well this thread is labeled as stamina issue... the resource for dodging, not for entering districts. Energy is the resource for doing mission, not stamina.

  • I don't really think that it'll be removed as it's a part of the game. It isn't an invention by Gameforge to force the player to buy "Energy" in order to play longer. The Japanese servers also have this System in use. Since I didn't get until Endgame on the JP-Servers, I don't know how it's like with the Energy-System while beeing max. level, but don't expect them to remove it, because they simply won't :/

  • If it's not a way to pump money out of people, I assume it has something to do with keeping ppl from getting to max lvl in 3 days?

Or keep people from dropping dead in cyber cafes? That seems to be a thing in some parts of the world...

    So what IS the purpose?
