The Stamina Issue (merged topics)

  • Unfortunately, it won't be. Love the game or not, petition or none.

A lot of games have developed systems like this in Eastern regions due to the addiction issue that the region has shown to face over the years. Removing it in one region would be wild, and if one region didn't have it and the others did, then people would just play on those regions via VPNs and then this regions servers would, again, get overloaded and the playerbase in the other regions would die.

It could spell the end of the game if more and more feel like it's a pain in the ass, closers had this issue but you get TONS of fatigue/energy

The thing is, it hasn't been the end of the game in the regions it began in and it's been fine. If the western release fails and they have to quit supporting it, it is what it is. The ones that don't mind it will go back to the JP server as most of us have been and keep playing it regardless.
But I find it ridiculous people will deal with the Gachashit systems but then find similar ones in other games and complain out the ass about it, while shilling $300 a month on Gacha.

  • Is not a good idea, the energy system was created in other games to simply not live in it. Currently the games always bring in their own way a limiter for that. recently came out the closers game in NA and and soon after the players made tantrums to remove the fatigue system, congratulations they were left with weekly fatigue and not daily fatigue, which is worse you can vice a day but rest 6 days until the restart.

Not to change the energy system.

  • As much as I want to binge level or play this game because I'm enjoying it, I have other priorities set such as working full time and tending to my hobbies with passion.
I have a tendency to go overboard with my game time and I must say I'll back the energy system in this case.
BECAUSE I CAN'T HELP MYSELF GOING OVERBOARD PLAYING BECAUSE I ENJOY THE GAME.

I have to thank that the energy feature exists or else, I'd be late for work Kappa

Those regions are used to the energy system, most games over there use it, it's different over here. It could be the end of the game as well as not, other things might weight more than the fatigue system.

Not sure if it is a good example or not but TOS on steam is slowly but surely fading away and they don't even have an energy system. What is game breaking for some, isn't for others.

  • I don't really mind having a fatigue / energy system because i like playing moderately. The only downside of this fatigue system is that it hinders people from helping out friends from doing lower level dungeons but i suppose one can make a new character again.

That's why I used up all of my energy. But again, multiple characters helps.

  • If I burn myself out in one day, then it's probably not that great of game to begin with. Contrary to your belief, I've spent year(s) on mmo-rpg/fps/arpg and moba games that allow for unlimited access to content. Not to mention, all of the top games (in every genre) manage to get by with letting their player, you know, play the game. So to me, that's a weak excuse.

All this seems like is either the publishers want more money through cash shop transactions, or they're using this as a method to keep server population at a level where they wont have to invest in more hardware or cloud instances (whatever they use). I know this method was used in other regions, but that doesn't mean those publishers weren't thinking the same way.

  • everyone knows stamina is a stupid system except the game publishers apparently

keep it up and the game will die shortly just like closers did this is not KR this si NA if people have a so called '' addiction to gaming'' which is a bunch of bullshet btw if you cant tell when you need to stop its not the games fualt your an idiot

  • But like I said, if it kills it for the west then it kills it for the west. If it really bothers people that much, then oh well.

  • Like i figured when i saw it next to the dungeons, This is pretty shitty, it's made so that you shouldn't spend hours upon hours in this game and not let it take over your life, but if you have the cash, then feel free to do so.

    It's pretty shitty tbh.

This is a accustom for Koreans.

Preferably they make a monthly system where you pay a sum of $ and it removes the energy limit.
Otherwise i don't see this as a game that i will be putting my time and effort in sadly.

I personally avoid any games having a energy limit that limits you from enjoying the game.
