The Stamina Issue (merged topics)

  • If someone is addicted to a game thats their own problem not the problem of the rest of the playerbase that have self control.

  • True. this is exactly the Problem!

Its not about learning how to spend you Points or just running Mania Dungeons to maximize some kind of leveling... Not everyone is so into Hardcore leveling/grinding and stuff. They want to enjoy at their own pace!

Its about how this shitty System works. We are no Koreans and we are not playing in some kind of Internet Shops. We are not working as Gold Sellers etc. We dont need someone that tells us to stop playing... End of discussion.

And if this math is correct it wont work! See Closers Online on Steam! Negative Reviews all day.. People will quit this game just because they dont want to a whole day or week just to enjoy it especially if you got friends playing it.

    ===========

On the other Side, i dont see them changing the System. Especially not on Beta or near future because thats nothing the Publisher is responsible for. And im not even sure whether its possible for them to change it freely because of Contracts, Licenses etc.

  • You may as well say we shouldn't look for a cure for diseases cause everyone doesn't have it.... My statement may be extreme and probably not the best comparison. But a company controlling time on a game for the betterment of the general populace where gaming addiction and computer related issues are more prevalent, seems fairly ok to me. Which is why I recommended putting in small systems for those of age and mind to be able to make a decision to buy a little energy extra or subscribe to their game to get maybe a larger pool of energy to work with.

My ideas allow a monitored time for peoples health and sanity, combined with the ability to bypass that system a little with age associated means of credit cards from the person of age, or their guardian. I don't want pay2win, just pay2play how I want, which seems reasonable in my opinion as someone who had a parent that controlled how much I played as a child, where I can admit I have a very addictive personality and am pretty lucky she controlled my bad habit to not ruin my life.

  • Dud 200 energy per day is to low ... like one mission is 12

you can run 40 dungeons if you play through a whole area (4 chapters)
Which is 1.6 hours (1 hour 40/45 min) if it takes you 10 min to clear all 4 areas.

    200 energy is nothing.

  • Yeah because playing for 1.6 hours is "self control" a normal gamer spends around 5 hours a day, you can't even spend half of that here.

  • Alright so i just got home and im on the NA server and its worse than i thought, it costs 26 Energy points for a whole Area (4 Episodes)
    Episode 1: 4 Energy
    Episode 2: 6 Energy
    Episode 3: 8 Energy
    Episode 4: 8 energy

Total Energy for 4 Episodes: 26

    200 Energy totally a day
4 Episodes estimated for me takes 10 minutes.
    200 / 26 = 7.692
    10 x 7.692 = 76.92 Minutes
76.92 minutes in hours is 1.2 hours.

That means i can only play EVERYDAY for 1 hour and 17 minutes. that is absurd, if i want to play more i have to buy energy
I spend an average a day a week atleast 7 hours on games, and 7-8 hours on school.

No matter how much i love this game, if the energy stays this won't be for me sadly. i hope it doesn't.

  • no cuz nex map s like 12 and +++

no cuz nex map s like 12 and +++

  • Alright, ill count it up like this and you'll get a better view of it, it gets lowered for the next one, but thats just by 4 points, which increases way more on the next one.

    Lets break this down.

    Zone 43 "Level 1-5"
    Episode 1: 4 Energy

    Episode 2: 6 Energy

    Episode 3: 8 Energy

    Episode 4: 8 energy

Total Energy for 4 Episodes: 26

    R Square "Level 6-8"

    Episode 1: 4 Energy

    Episode 2: 6 Energy

    Episode 3: 6 Energy

    Episode 4: 6 energy

Total Energy for 4 Episodes: 22

    Tower of Greed "Level 9-10"

    Episode 1: 6 Energy

    Episode 2: 6 Energy

    Episode 3: 8 Energy

    Episode 4: 8 energy

Total Energy for 4 Episodes: 28

    Best Showtime "Level 11-13"

    Episode 1: 6 Energy

    Episode 2: 10 Energy

    Episode 3: 10 Energy

    Episode 4: 14 energy

Total Energy for 4 Episodes: 40

    Total energy: 116
    Estimated time: 45-60 Minutes.

As you see it increases the higher level up you get, lets say you have to farm up your level on Chapter 4(Best Showtime), That means you'd be spending 40 Energy every 12 minutes, if ur able to clear within 3 minutes.

You'd reach that 200 Energy if you were to farm that within an hour if every clear is 3 min.
if every clear is 2 min that is 50 minutes.

    Of playtime a day.

Lets say you do quests and salvage items when u need to, that adds prob 40 more min.
1 hour and 40 min a totally you'll be spending on this game.

Even if its 22 energy a area you'd run out of content after 2 hours
An average game today spends ATLEAST 5 hours a day average.

  • yes u right ... the game need duble offenergy.. or cahnge the cost Dg

  • learn to spend your fatigue efficiently and you't won't have this kind of problem, lvl 22 at 60% and still got 130-140 fatigue point left lol

Ok man, that's the basic mixed up with some knowledge, knowledge will increase the efficiency so extend your gap toward the others. The issue still remain.
How do people even try to find out what's the right method if the web has nothing about this and you don't have enough Fatigue Points to try? I'm level 18, I'm pretty sure I'm near the top with my playtime so far and my Fatigue Points are struggling hard. I'm at Candus City and every episode requires the next level, in order to level up I need to complete at least 2-3 times the Maniac Ep.3/4 of the previous District and each episode costs 12-14 Fatigue Points; do you understand now that even by having the knowledge of the game and knowing what to do and where, the Fatigue Points are damn too low to let somebody enjoy the experience?
By saying "I'm level 18 and I'm sure I'm near the top with my playtime" it doesn't mean I aimed on leveling all the time, I'm also re-doing the old districts with my friends in order to make 'em catch up and continue together but still if I wouldn't do that from now on I wouldn't have any way to fulfill the objective of "playing more/level up more".
If you think differently then please share.

  • i just hope they don't make the same mistake that closers NA did and do something like weekly stamina - that's just stupid.

already said my piece on this, so i'll ignore the rest of the notifications from here. in the end, it's about personal preference, and how much free time you have, honestly.

just remember this system came from the base game itself, it's not a p2w ploy by gameforge, believe it or not.
