Hello, hello!
I'm 22, guy from Latvia.
I have dark hair whit bleached white parts like Raven from Elsword. Well it looks like that now is it has grown out quite a bit. Soon will bleach my hair again. I have dark, dark, dark brown eyes. Pretty much black. Sort of growing out beard. But I get irritated some times of it and I shave it off. Not too tall. Average body for last few years as I haven't been doing any sports lately but I'm trying to gain some weight to start to get back in gym. Sometimes I seem mean. Mostly when I'm writing. But I'm actually kind hearted. I don't mean to come out as this douche guy or what not. My main reason why I spent too much time on one game (Grand Chase *cough, cough*) is that I wanted to get absolute best gear so I could help everyone no matter the difficulty.
**You can read more about it in grand chase spoiler - little description on my thoughts about that game as well as other favorite games.**
I have done a lot of stuff in my life. Hobby wise and as you'll in this post - game wise as well.
Used to play professional hockey until I broke my arm and ribs. Arm fully healed but my ribs are still broken in at sides. Hard to explain where and how are they broken in but yeah. It doesn't change my every day life - I can still do pretty much everything. I did some Judo and Street Dance after that. Some bmx and snowboard in between.
Now I'm more shifted towards cars as I decided that that's what I want to build my career on. Like I have been good with computers since childhood. Pretty much since I build my first pc and installed it at age of 7. As odd as it sounds, but I'm weird. If I decided that I want something - I find out about everything I can to chose the best option for me. It goes with everything not only pc or cars. That's just who I am. And then my parents tried to limit my pc usage with 3rd party programs and what not. Which ended up with me locking them out of my pc so that not even pc service guys could do anything about it. Because I just put password on bios and made my own hidden user which you can get to only trough bios. Key thing that the hidden user was the main administrator of the PC. But I learned all that because I sort of had to. Not because I liked it. I have worked in biggest computer re-seller company in my country. And other tech related stuff but I got sort of bored of it. + Since childhood when I first tried NFS game (which was underground 2) I fell in love with cars. So I'll soon go continue my studying in mechanical engineering.
Because of all that - lately I don't have that much time to spend on games, I used to play A LOT of games. I don't even remember them all as most of them I picked up, played 6h non-stop and in the next day didn't feel like going online anymore as even in those 6h they already felt repetitive.
In 2012 I was bored of my favorite games so I spent pretty much every day downloading like 3-5 new games and trying them out to find something refreshing. I did that for few months so, if you have played some 2004-2012ish online games then there is a high chance that I have tried it even if I don't remember it by name.
So back then my favorites were:
TopSpeed
Latvian carting racing game. Something like mario cart but online. Was nearly my favorite game. Played it from Closed Beta till the last day before they closed it. They messed up cash shop there so I already saw that it won't work out for them but they were too ignorant to listen to one kid player as I was like 12-13 years old. But yeah, I don't understand why they did so stupid mistake. And it makes me angry/sad that because of their ignorance they did end up closing servers as that was one of the most fun games we played with my friends. But I'm trying to find how to use UnrealEngine to try to make my own version of that game.
Grand Chase
What can I say - my absolute favorite game. Pretty much THE game that got me in to online gaming. Played from Open Beta till last hour of closing. If I recall, it was 11-12 years that I played that game. And yeah, I used to have pretty much 3 day gaming sessions there as I would get home from school on Friday and go to sleep only on Sunday. But I had best possible stats there as I played that game pretty much all the time. In those 11-12 years that I had the chance, I spent around 3 years in game. So that game pretty much was my childhood.
**Because I mainly was solo player in online game. I knew how hard it could get. So I would intentionally go to low level guilds or accept random low level players as friends to help them. Because I had all max levels, max stats, enhancement, props etc etc etc. So I would spend months trying to get that perfect prop item and, if epic stone enhancement at level 9 would give bad enhancement bonus - I would restart farming for the same item. In the end I was kind op. Pretty much one hit everyone in pvp. And I needed one skill to solo kill raid boss.**
Elsword
Played in Closed Beta as I saw that it will take over grand chase sooner or later so decided to get adapted to it's game physics before Grand Chase pros get to it. There were multiple reasons why I saw that Grand Chase will die out because of Elsword.
Overwatch
Started recently with my best friend. Nothing much I can say other than I find it interesting and fun to play with my best friend.
GTA5
Pretty much only online player for the DLC etc. That's my go-to game to relax. Just have some races or do random stuff there. When I rage-out of OW ranked, Els Arena, etc.
Forza series
Don't have Xbox yet but might get it soon. At the moment, playing it at friends house. Sometimes at home I play Asseto Corsa.
Other games that I used to like: AirRivals, 9Dragons, WoW (casual level - just some random fun with friends), NFS World, B&S, Continent of The Ninth, Vindictus, CS 1.6/GO (every now and then - when friends make me play it) and many, many, many more. Some betas here and there but it's hard to keep me around. I don't stay for games that I don't see that they have future. Ether too hyped up which they fail to achieve or other reasons.
But this game (from what I have seen - after all, for now I can't seem to play more than 5-10 minutes before dc) seems promising. It looks like it can be fun. Which I haven't had since Grand Chase days. So I'm looking forward to this game. I hope they can make it refined and wont mess up trough cash shop. Just those two things and I'll stay with this ship till the end like with Grand Chase. So looking forward to meet some new friends!
Anyhow, thank you for your time. Sorry, I know that's kinda lenghty but oh well..
Have a nice day,
Ivo.
