cant even get past the server selection...cuz nothing happens D:
2 maintenance yesterday and....

I'm disconnecting and having server connections issues as well.
My friends aren't though.
It's weird.
This right here is why there's been maintenance. It's not like 100% of the playerbase can't play, it's a weird mix, sometimes people can get in, other times they can't. Some people are getting DC'd, others (like myself) aren't. Oftentimes the solution to one problem can cause another. Plus, this is why we have stress and server testing so we can make sure everything runs smoothly on full release.

I have the same issue.
It's weird though.
I have 2 characters that i am trying out.One of them is haru and the other is elwin.
I can connect to haru till i see the character in town and then i get disconnected, while with elwin i go into the character selection and when i press start I disconnect.
I am used to beta starting in games(I played a lot of games in cbt and ob),but I think this one is the worst that I have ever played, because usually you just have the normal lag and frames skipping, but not disconnects and defintly not in the 3rd day.
I hope they fix the game fast and to not happen the same as in Mu legends(it had connection issues the whole beta and it got bad reviews because of it and it still plagues the game here and there. It lost many players)

Well, Is this problem being solved? I and members of the Russian-speaking community can not enter for more than an hour. CoMa, take action.

Hello,
This are the first real test for the servers with this amount of people. I know this may be frustrating, but remember this is an Open Beta and all the bugs detected and corrected now will be bugs non existent in the final release.
Regards,
Rhaegal.
Open Beta in most games means the game is almost ready.. didnt know u that?? You shouldve started on Alpha or Close beta if its gonna be like this.. You stressed test the server now we players are freakin stressed out too..

I was about to make a rage thread because enough is enough, but you just did it for me (with 0 aggressive words so its more nice i guess)

Well... i have like 3 errors or bugs or i don't know what when i try to connect to NA server... or when im playing in it...
1- In Server selection screen, when i choose NA server, the game stays in that screen... i can click like 100 times and the screen is not gonna change into character selection screen...
2- I can't view/open the "Premium Shop" in NA server, i tried in EN and ES servers and i can view/open the "Premium Shop" and buy the test items that are there... but not in NA one...
3- In NA server when i can finally log in and i can start playing, if i want to see my friend's equipment or profile i won't be able, because it doesn't work...
And that's all... Gameforge we all know that you can make this game better than Tera, because i think you all know what happened with Tera... xD

This game is desperately in need of further netcode testing for sure. The game itself has been solid for the most part, have only seen a few instances of broken collision. Well, aside from disabled features...

while i get that SoulWorker EU is in it's Open Beta but the amount of problems we've been experiencing these last 3 days are abnormally big... way back when at the end of 2017 you told us you were delaying SoulWorker to be sure it would be "perfect" and "all problems would be avoided". now 3 days in the release and there have been 2 maintenances (with the 3rd going on right now) and each of them making things worse. first it was the server crash then many players being unable to enter instances with a disconnect here and there and now very and i mean VERY frequent disconnecting. a maintenance is meant to fix things not make it worse. While i don't think you are bad unlike other companies *cough* yes kixeye i'm talking about you *cough* (if you don't know who they are which is very likely then go to this link and read some of the forum posts: Kixeye Forums) there are still things that need to change. my advise would be to plan a maintenance asap which fixes the crashes/disconnects and with it also other bigs like texture buggs and the dreaded tabbing out pc crash/problems that so many people have. i hope unlike Kixeye you will listen to us and fix things that need fixing

honestly how hard can this be -
after 2 maint in same day and still the same annoying D/C issue
Still no clear answer if there will be a wipe or not .....
First time in my 25 years of gaming have I seen a company cant give a clear answer on a wipe or not.....Do you guys even have any control over the game?
They said they dont want to do a wipe. Theyll avoid it as much as possible. They also said tho that if theres a gamebreaking bug or something really bad happens, theyll probably wipe
OOOOH!
I believe in them. v .v
Which is why the disappointment from me and my clansmen will be greater if they do wipe. xD

Omirae Shinderu....
But basically the server is technically full, for me I click on it really fast and rapidly and eventually it loads me in. o -o

I agree a lot of people i know are already planing on turning their attention to other things because of this

They have done a great job of delivering a bad impression of their quality service. The game itself is fun.
-
Well it's just latency issues.
Once they fix that, the game will run well.
I just find it kind of strange how every new game that comes out always misses a step to a perfect launch, but since I am a merciful person and so are my clannies, well most of them anyway, we're gonna give Soul Worker on Steam a positive rating.
Long as they don't wipe that is lol....

A reasonable compensation would be 200 energy packets, or a cosmetic box. Not really necessary, but open betas are usually not this bad.

It's good that everyone wants to play, it's great that they want to spend their time here, but remember that the so-called Betas doesn't matter if they put "open" or "closed" (in the end that only indicates the number of "first" players that are allowed) they are done to test the performance and hardware and software limits of the server, repair errors in some of the millions of code lines that make up the game's programming or some of its files. Those who have been in BETAS of other games know very well that we stick to server crashes, emergency or special maintenance, disconnections, access errors and others bugs in general to the left and right; so all we can do is report it objectively with comments about what happened, what we were doing while it happened, etc.... and that managers have a starting point to review it and try to repair it.
It is unrealistic and illogical to ask for compensation for "not being able to play well""I have to go to work""I get out during a stage" etc....
those who cannot be satisfied with what is a BETA, may well return when the game and server has received all the necessary configurations and required to be "officially launched".
