Did someone notice enemy hit harder than the Japanese version?

  • Having a Stella in your party is life saving.

But I agree with those saying adding some sort of daily resurrection function. That’d be great... considering how difficult it is to obtain resurrection stones and how hard bosses hit at earlier levels.

  • I still got 6 revives left ^^

But yeah its fun getting one shot by a boss on manic. which i wouldnt call very balanced or fun.

  • Hello,

I am happy to know that korean version is different from EU / Na version! On korea, SoulWorker is really so easy, I think the game can be better with a new challenge for the dungeons. We must change the way we play and its really interessant of start on a "new game".

  • The point of MMOs has always been the social aspect of the game. Games that let you solo all content from the start are bound to fail. Therefore, a game that proves to be somewhat difficult, challenging, requiring party members to clear is a good thing. You can do it solo but it takes skill, it's easier with people but it's still not face rolling. Having said all this, I welcome this game's difficulty. I just really hope they implement more ways to get ress stones, especially a way to ress party members by using in-game currency.

  • Well the ress stones will be probaly cash shop only later on... or crafting with "massiv" amount of needed materials.

I like challgenes in games (like BornSouls) and i wouldnt care if bosses can one shot you (even with the fast cast speed that some bosses have) but then it means wasting fatique again, again and again.

Or you need 2 Stellas (or atleast one) in party for healing on Bosses...

  • It's pretty much like old school DFO right now.

I guess they figured since everyone is starting at early game, let's actually make it challenging until enough people get to end game that they need to tone it down so they can catch up.

I really like it like this and it actually makes it so that you have to actually pay attention and get used to the game's mechanics....

Which suck because you always get hit by lag and get snap-backed out of your dodge animation, or get hit from across the room when you ran out of the hit box 3 seconds earlier and... yeah you get the idea.

With how this game handles lag (and not just Gameforge's servers) it's really hard to not get one hit killed by lag.

    People still use these things?

  • I agree they hit quite hard. I've played the Japanese version with Iris and I'd almost get 1shot in Hard and Maniac content, but for the western version I can't pronounce an opinion yet because I decided to start playing with the cute loli, Stella..... oh boy, I couldn't have made a worse decision....

She's cute alright... but her starter kit is abysmal-tier shite. Yeah every character has at least 1 poop ability, but with Stella I'm talking about her first 4. I know she gets a billion times better later in the game, but for me that doesn't justify her being so incredibly weak compared to all other characters in the beginning.

Anyway, SoulWorker is a difficult game, but it's not unreasonable and it can be cleared solo on all difficulties without using res as long as you have nerves of steel to scratch you enemies until they die.

  • Im having fun with Stella so far, leveling her was quite easy, its just about using the dodge at the right time. And the character is really fun to play, Im actually surprised by this.
