Did someone notice enemy hit harder than the Japanese version?

  • My personal opinion is that if players request more daily resurrection items its a clear sign that mobs hit to hard. Also there is a clear difference between something being challenging and something being hard. Too high stats on mobs can make a game really frustrating to play. Do you think hitting a boss for over 30 minutes and losing right before it dies because it one shot you as you lost concentration after all this time is exiting?

Luckily we are not at this point yet, however we need to be careful it does not become too extrem.

I agree a challenging game is fun. However if we take such a game, as for example the souls series, it's a fair balance between game mechanic and mob stats. Einmies in this series rarely one shot you. One challenge there for example is to balance out the timing of attacks, dodging and healing.

In conclusion, I don't think slightly lower damage output of mobs would hurt how we experience the game. I think it would make it even better. I am mainly talking about one shots in general but especially in the lower levels. For example, it's not fun to get killed for missclicking because you are not used to the controls yet. In a good game there must be room for errors so the player can learn from his or her mistakes. This also goes for manic mode.

  • After level 40 ..the game became way too easy. Challenge drops off as you get stronger gear.

I agree... Even around 30 you can already tell that Manic slowly loses danger and becomes meaningless. We ran a couple Manic dungeons in the past few days in Grace City and I asked myself "Is this really Manic?" Monsters dropped almost as fast as they do on Normal, only the bosses were standing for a bit longer.

Compared to that, the difficulty in Rucco Town is a lot harder. Shouldn't it be the other way around? Mh7F1jc.png

xD Watch the mobs in Rucco be bugged and their attack value is glitched.

I mean, it happens. It happened in BDO - one of higher end farm spots had a glitch where mobs defense value was higher than attended so it took way longer to kill them than it was supposed to.

  • The game getting easier the better your gear is. Isn't that how it is suppose to be? Should the game scale to match your gear? How should groups work in that case?

  • Don't know anything about any other version. But this game is easy enough.

1st town. The only minutes you have it hard, is at level 3 when you still have no armor (as in literally none). After you get to lvl 5, any normal mode dungeon is quite easy. Manic not rly soloable at this stage, take too much time and risky. Party manic not super easy on bosses but doable. Only hard manic is the last one. The 2 miniBosses part isnt that easy.

2nd town. Normal can be done by using right hand on mouse and 1 finger of left hand, to move and skills. Party manic = free win run. Solo manic.. not worth with bad gear, but with good weapon quite doable.

3-4th towns. Normals - right hand on mouse, left just press and hold "w", no longer need skills. Auto attacks more then enougth to finish it. All manic runs are now doable solo, party just makes things go faster (in some cases, in other cases Stellas need to b kicked out of party to stop messing with monsters and making things take longer...Bish i just grouped all room mobs in 1 place, No not for you to ride on wolf spirit and scatter em all again!!!)

Only thing left is to see if post 55lvl content is challenging or not (44lvl so far).

  • Why nowadays people are so afraid to lose a few times or to learn new shit to actually be better at something? This is somethin that bother me.

The game isnt even hard, this is why they had to put some guys that are able to oneshoot you if you dont know how to spam dodge in time, to have some kind of challenge, and even that, when geared, this fact seems to dissapear.

Its like seeying people who say that Dark souls 1 is dificult or whatever, all in the contrary, its just about to learn and you are g2g.

Games are made to be learned, whats the point on playing if not

  • I think they hard...and douge is a solution...but because the server had lag (I mean late actions) I got hitted. Even if you had a good equipment and upgraded you can make better. When start to replay soul worker jp, mobs dmg was really big but when I got good equip was more easy to not to die, maybe I still die sometimes at expert but that is

  • I like how it is, the only thing I would change is maybe tweak the exp gain a little bit on the dungeons later in the game. Maybe 20% more or have weekend exp events. Anything would be fine, even if it is just a bit.

Everything else in terms of diffculty seems fine. I only really die if I lag or lose a bit of focus. It is not really that hard.
