It's been annoying me to see so many numbers in the forum. I highly doubt that I will read all the Spanish, French, Italian, Polish posts, and even some of the english and german ones, so I wanted to ask if there is a possibility to mark certain groups as read, or even the entire forum. If there isn't I'd like to make a suggestion to implement this feature.
Is there a "mark as read" function on the forum?

Not too sure about the specific sections (such as the general section within the English board), but for the overall forums, you can actually turn off the visibility of updates for the other regions.

Go to the main forums and on the right sidebar, there is an eye icon you can click on to toggle the notifications for the various regions. I've attached a picture of what it looks like.
PS. The check mark next to the eye also puts everything as read as you wanted as well*

Yes, you can turn on/off other parts of the forums so you are not notified of those posts, I replied to that here:
On the same first screen, if you look to the right of the marked option there is another option (✓) that marks all the threads as read
