There should be a queue for switching channels, that way people who want to play with friends can wait in that queue instead of hoping the channel will let them in. That or open more channels. We had 30, but now it's down to 20.

Just go back to character select after grouping up and log back in, it should put you in your friend's channel.
Why can't we use the auto team feature when we are in a party already that is not full yet?
