Just use a VPN. Region block is nothing but an act of greed to get as much money as they can from people. Imagine where LoL, GW or WoW would be if they had been stupid enough to implement region block. Region block is far more usual in Japanese and Korean games, for some stupid reason this is becoming more common in games released in the West. ''Language'' and/or ''ping'' reasons are but a pathetic excuse to region block a game. It's sheer greed, plain and simple.

As far as i know no company has the means to acquire it or that actually publishes games that aren't from 20 years ago.
It's an unprofitable market in south america because people prefer to play and spent money on the english versions.

Apparently it's smilegate who owns the rights for south america. Thing is theres isnt even a word for a release, and in the remote chance that there would be one I doubt it would be for 2018.
tbh the chances of a korean company making a south america release are abysmal. So I guess we play with vpn or don't play at all. Feels fucking good man. -

I don't know how often I have explain that. Licences work like this:
- GF: "Can we have the the licences for EU and NA for that price?"
- Lion Games: "Sure here"
- GF: "Can we have it for SEA/OCEA/LATAM as well?" (if they even asked)
- Lion Games: "No, somebody else already got it."
So what is there not do understand? There is nothing more to it, no need to over complicate things.
Also a beta means that the developer, in this case publisher, is allowed to do breaking changes without any compensation. That's exactly why using software in beta state is not recommend in larger software projects. Alpha means it's probably full of bugs, use at your own risk.
Tree of Savior did compensations for their CBT, I thought that was the oddest thing.

Everyone is mad at GF because they let us think that the game would not have IpBlock (I even create a thread on the first day of the beta asking if we would receive such thing, no one from the staff responded, don't know why) but keeping creating threads about it won't solve anything because they already "explained" what happen and the people who can play will alert the staff so the thread gets closed.
@EditWnat my advice? Forget the game and let's just play something else. Don't even use VPN (at least not on GF's servers. JP server got some lag but they are still better). The hype for this game will die and the population will start to decrease quick and, who knows, maybe GF can take SEA and SA license away from smilegate and open the servers for us again.

Yeah I've already gone Back to Paying my WoW Sub and playing the JP version, after thinking about it my only gripe was how sudden it was since they had an entire year where this should have been Solved or atleast notified people, Maybe they didn't predict how many or Maybe it was a sudden notification for them.... over all it sucks but life goes on I'll just wait for Bless online
