Mainly about the PvP Revamp and how other versions use it's energy (fatigue). I just wanted some clarity.
As I see it, the PvP in this game can be summed up as burning garbage. SA bar, and just face tank, or later on, you kill the person straight up and don't even break their SA bar as I've seen in some videos (Maybe whales?)
Could anyone possibly provide details on the PvP revamp and how it affects the pvp of this game? I come from DN, where its pvp system is practically godlike in every way, until the later caps, pretty much. This game could perform practically just like it, if given the proper care.
And, as for the energy (fatigue), I've been told this version has lower exp rates (prob 'cause lower cap, yeah?) and has more energy usage per dungeon compared to it's foreign versions? I don't know how true that is, but I would definitely like to know before I get too invested.
P.S: Lily is best girl, if you disagree, get out ![]()
I've got a couple questions

PvP is nonexistant. The little bit of pvp in the R6 zone is fully optional and gives nothing until the egg breeding mechanic is in place - therefore ppl dont do it that much.
Energy is exactly the same in all regions. You can get energypots from the coinstore or from events. There is NO ENERGYPOTION in the CASHSHOP (last time i checked jp version). The 100 energypot that is in the shop now is the eventpotion and this is a event aswell. Regular potion range from 20 to 50 energy and you can use 3 a day.
Lategame pvp depends on gear.. if one has full +9 gear and runs against one that has none ofc he will be almost oneshot or onecomboed.. the + enhancements give a shit ton of boosts. Its not p2w though as everything is available for free in one way or another and might just take a bit longer
The revamped system mostly comes in place due to the eggbosses being part of the openworld bossing. Its a bit more smooth and a bit more balanced however the game is still a PvE game and never was intended as a PvP focused game so its still not as good as in other games.

could you explain the egg-breeding mechanic? Whats that
-
You gain eggs from dungeons and open world mobs (R6) and then you hatch them - meaning you keep them in your inventory for 1hr-7days (depending on the type of egg) and then you can spawn a mob with these.
Those range from slightly stronger dungeonbosses towards raidlike bosses
Since they are in R6 other can contest them. You usually do a guildhatching and then do like 20-100 bosses each week that way.
Those drop materials, consumables and gear aswell as housingitems.
Not yet in the EU/NA version

Any game that wants to have a healthy PvP environment where skill is what matters must follow Blade and Soul's example. Upon entering the arena everyone's stats are equalized. Gear means shit, gear matters for PvE only. PvP is about skill and practice. I wish every game would apply this logical rule.

Only in the arena, not in faction pvp

Only in the arena, not in faction pvp

I'm aware of that, but my point remains. If they want a healthy PvP environment they must equalize the stats and forget gear. But this is only if they consider PvP an important enough part of the game. If they prefer PvE, then, PvP will be nothing but a fiesta of unbalance and oneshotting. It's up to them.

I didn't even know pvp existed till I reached the next town. I looked up videos and came to the conclusion that this game wasn't built with pvp in mind. With that said, I probably won't even bother.
to make this game more pvp oriented, they would have to completely change all skill sets and add more debuffs/buffs. All I could see in the videos were players attacking each other with no hit reactions, stuns, etc just mindless button tapping.

I believe PvP is currently disabled until later, and it's a dungeon crawler game so it's not going to be pvp oriented :p

Certainly not PvP oriented, but if they care enough they'll work a bit on it. For example, in Dragon Nest all skills deal less damage and effects last less and sometimes are not there when PvPing. So, each skill has two effects, one for PvP and one for PvE. It should be an easy enough task for them to make the skills deal a different effect when PvPing. This game is quite simple and straightforward, you don't have to deal with the many skills other games have, not to mention you only have 6 classes. All they need to do is care enough about PvP.

Thank you for the Information, VolantumVulpes. Same as all versions, so the person lied. Good to know.
As for the revamp, its a bit disappointing to hear, but that's fine. I'll have to experience the revamp myself when it comes, to see if it's to my liking. I'm not playing this game because I wanted to PvP anyways, that's just something I'd love to do on the side.
I was mostly concerned about the whole energy/exp thing.
Which would mean, my concerns, for now, are pretty much gone.
