Audio lag- Gradual slowing/lengthening of in game BGM+dialogue leading to eventual lagging of the game itself.

Hi all, as titled, I am currently experiencing a bug where the game audio begins to lengthen itself as time passes. At the start there is audible clipping of the sound track/bgm, which eventually leads to the voice and subtitles being out of sync. This is most notable during the tutorial stages of the game. The audio lag eventually causes the game itself to lag and or delay. I am currently unsure of what is causing the lag, however, the problem persists after rebooting my computer. I do not believe my hardware specs would be the cause of the issue, however I will update my PC specs at a later time to this thread.
