Can I just move around and buff HP for teammates during boss fighting? I feel myself a little useless cause couldn't spam all dps skills to boss, just healing team ![]()
Fighting Boss With Stella In Team

stance dance between dps and support for better overall performance.
-
Get a powerful haru in your party and she'll just break everything, then you can just watch her

As a Stella, I just focus on 2 things: The boss's super armour bar, and my teammates HP. if the bar is still high, I use the guitar beam in support to bring it down, if teammates are at full HP: I drop hp orbs and spend some time DPSing boss. It's literally stance dancing depending on what happens during the fight.
Stella has quite high damage imo, and when the boss's armor breaks I go full DPS... but I prioritize supporting the group. At higher levels you start getting skills that help armour breaking too.
Granted, it's different for everyone. All depends on your playstyle really.
(I didn't play the JP or KR version, so what I'm saying might mean squat compared to end game players from those. Just sharing my opinion from my experience so far.)

Forget your teammates, DPS and only drop heals for yourself when you need them /s
I saw an opportunity and I seized it. -

I saw an opportunity and I seized it."Heals? In MY bossfights?! OH hell naww!"

Pros
・ Best crowd control capability among all characters.
・ Highest SG pool in the game and excellent SG management
・ Capable to attack with high-power skills relentlessly.
・ Has highest SA break rate.
Cons
・ Channelling skills leaves you vulnerable.
・ Lacks burst potential; her skills have lower damage multipliers compared to other characters.
・ Aiming her ultimate and her SG recovery method needs practice.

Assuming it was just me and a Stella in a party, I don't get hit enough to justify her staying in heal mode the whole fight. Break that SA for me pls, that way I can unleash my wombo combos without fear.

Yah same. Being an Erwin means I will be attacking mostly from a distance and kiting anyways, maybe she will pair up very will with Jin and Iris.
But playing Stella like that is perfectly fine. o -o

I focus on dps, but I made the mistake in picking paralysis on orb song not knowing what it would do. Now I want a skill reset. I prefer all the orbs heatseek on the boss.
But if my team is low on Hp, I'll heal when I can. Preferably, the team should just not get hit xD
I can be difficult though with those hit boxes.

i can feel your pain OP.
when playing with idiots in party who don't dodge attacks and just rely on stella healing them, while Stella's best heal has 45 second cooldown.
also, when you're forced to heal them, you can't give them sg buff, so this makes fights so much longer.
and when you explain to them what they're doing wrong and why they should dodge more, they get all offended and just spout shit like "it's just a game".
playing with idiots in party is just a massive waste of time.
one of the reasons why I'm happy to have quit mmorpg games. it takes way too much time and effort to find people who share the "speedrunning" spirit and will constantly improve their gameplay to clear dungeons as fast as they can.
if I'm stuck with idiots who refuse to learn how to clear content fast, then I really feel like just quiting the game.

The best part of being Stella is when they run away from your healing.
-
Or when they spam dodge when they are on low HP, so your heals do nothing. When someone is dodging, he's also dodging the heals, so he doesn't get healed. And dear god, pointing out to people not to dodge when they are on low HP will most likely get ignored, or they will get offended at you criticising their gameplay or forcing them to adopt your way of playing.
MMOs are a lost cause, there are just too many ignorant fools playing them. It's a rare sight to see someone who learns from his mistakes and is willing to accept criticism or advice from other players.
