Missing dlls? (merged topics)

    In my case it did not work, Nyoka ty very much for come to our Spanish forum to tell us, but i will have to find another solution for this because did not work.....

    My solution was to re-install the SP1(Service Pack 1)
    i got this problem with 3 games from GF(Game force)
    And alwais the solution was reinstaling the SP1
    after trying some "fast solutions" i got a problem with another .dll
    Just re-install from Control panel all of C++

    The game also does not start me. I updated VC 2015 as it was written and still does not start up. After pressing the PLAY button (Steam) nothing happens. The game worked well before maintenance.

    Did not work.. Sorry but please let the game masters fix this because it is not our fault or our responsibility.. this happened after the maintanance so please fix it for us.. and yet again.. no that thing did not work..

    I have Windows 10. I was able to play this morning before the Maintance without any problem! My pc was reinstalled at the C disk a while ago so that shouldnt be any problem either with any virus or malware.


    I tried:

    Restarting my PC

    Repairing the game files

    Reinstalling the whole game

    Installing that Visual C++ Redistributatble package from Microsoft

    Installed all 3 the dll's from some site and put that into the Soulworker map..

    The dll's are in System32 but I still overwrote them

    +I keep repairing the soulworker file just in case..

    Looked for windows updates.


    Still having the missing DLL error!


    The problem is solved! Wanna know how it worked for me then please find the next message I posted :)

    It doesn't use the ones in System32 if you're on a 64bit OS It'll execute from the SysWOW64 folder where the 32bit version will be installed. Try installing the x86 package and see if the error persists

    • Uninstalling, repairing, installing Visual C++ Package 2015 (x64) since my computer is x64
      • I also even installed the packages for 2005, 2008, 2010, 2015 for (x64) and (x86)
      • Still didn't work

    For the sake of troubleshooting for those that are still having issues with todays patch after installing vcredist 2015 x86.


    Which edition of windows are you running? What kind of error are you encountering? Are you using standalone or steam? Do you have the japanese voice pack? There is also a package of vcredist 2017 but it doesn't have a dedicated page because i believe it's included in windows update and anyone running somewhat up to date windows 10 should have it already, or if they've used an application or game that required said package are usually bundled with it. thus it is not something i would recommend downloading manually.


    definitely share your errors because most users seem unaffected so its hard to know what is wrong otherwise.

    I found a link that has a download for the 2017 package from Microsoft and leaving it here just in case if it will help someone.


    Installing it for me didn't work though.

    • Windows 10
    • Not using steam, just the standalone

    and then choose only the x86! not the 64 even if your system runs that! then install and hopefully this fixes it for you :)


    p.s. 1 error exists because of an IP block.. gameforge.. please lift that IP block for everyone who was able to play before the maintanence.. I am able to play but I still care about the people who are IP blocked and loved to play the game before the maintanence.. I feel realy unplease with the fact you do that.. Arent we all family?? yea maybe against server overload but IP blocking people shouln't be a solution.. because mothers don't have much room in their house they also don't ban them from being in their house.. they look for a bigger one.. treat ur players like your children.. also the one from SEA or south africa or wherever :)

    i reinstall the game but in other folder and not in (( local disk C )) and didnot delete the old client the new client work but the old not i donot know why or what happen

    i use windows 7

    I've tried
    1) installing and updating the Microsoft Visual C+++

    2) window update

    3) reinstall the game


    and the api-ms-win-crt-runtime problem still there ;(;(;(


    my system is window 7 x64bit, and the launcher is the standalone one.
