Cash Shop/Costumes Prices.

  • These prices..i hope they're just placeholders. i mean, $20 for just some hair is..idunno. I hope they are listening to the forums and will readjust the prices by a lot.

Like i didnt know the conversion of USD to Soul Cash at first. Saw a hair for like 1870 soul cash or so, so i thoguht maybe just maybe Soul Cash 1,000 = $1 . i was wrong.

  • this price not bug ... even they change it the price later, with see the first price like that. muahahaha

(im sure that the final price also lmaooo)

in another word (buy it or no..whatever, that our problem and they will not change the price.... ~evil~)

  • Well the real question for them is : Will people buy it with the current pricing.

Prices for Skins, Cosmetics etc have gone up in almost every game over time, and people kept buying it. If enough people are purchasing items from the Cash Shop with the current prices, they will not be inclined to change them.

Additionally Hair, Eye Color etc can be traded, this encourages the Ingame Money trade for Items from the Cash Shop (Cosmetic Trade) which is popular in these types of games. It also allows people to change their RL Money into Ingame Currency.

Exactly this. If there will be people who will buy this (and there will, there are always rich idiots in mmorpgs) nothing will change.

  • 30 bucks for the #1 tier set isn't that bad... I guess. It's basically the same thing on Elsword.

But, 20 bucks for 1 hair costume is a little...

I hope there are more options to load up cash in the future. Like Karma Koin... Really don't want to rely on subway gift cards...

the real question is not for them. the real question is if are we like/need/want it any item from IM? the item there and that the price. dont agree with the price? just leave it no need buy (even us complain about that will never have respond or better solution till now).

  • Well yeah the prices are insane but uhh...No one is going to touch the subject on how they messed up guild names, didn't do anything about it and now added guild name change coupon to the premium shop? Literally yesterday I got an answer form the support that they are sorry about it but they can't help me right now because "something is preventing them" but somehow today they found a way to add it to the premium shop

  • Of course the question is for them. This game, this type of Free-2-Play with Microtransactions Business Model is something they have to make work. This game is an end to make money. They have to make money in order to keep the game running to make even more money. This is still a Business, and a business that has to work for them.

They have to make the choice if they would rather sell 10 pieces for 50$ each, or 100 for 5$ each. Its a Business model and they are testing it, so the question is: Will people buy it with the current pricing? Are we turning a profit? Do we, as a company have to adjust to the gathered Data?

  • yea its game like that, without money the games will die soon.

bcoz with the legal rights and agreement with another publisher so this game only can play for EU & NA only mean = less ppl playing this game = less money they get.

that why the price like that.

  • Did some research, in japan the currency for the cash shop is called Hancoin (according Soul Worker Online's facebook page).

Heres the prices in Yen and how much Hancoin you can buy,

    100 for 100 yen

    300 for 300 yen

    500 for 500 yen

    1000 for 1000 yen

    2000 for 2000 yen

    3000 for 3000 yen

    5000 for 5000 yen

    10000 for 10000 yen

To put this in perspective (i'm basing this off google yen to us dollar so please google be right lol) 1000 Hancoin is around 10 dollars, the most expensive outfits on the japanese cash shop cost 2600 Hancoin so around 25ish dollars i'd say.

I've even seen some things on the japanese cash shop that are 5000 Hancoin which is roughly around 50 dollars so lol, i'd say japan gets things a little cheaper but still expensive lol.

(this is just a rough estimate using information from facebook and japanese cash shop youtube videos.)

  • Alright, I'm going to chart down the prices in this post, then we can use those as a baseline.

Seems like prices will have discounts depending on arbitrary and unknown factors.
