Hi :>
So NA Players are just getting exploited? We get 30% less soulcash for USD compared to EURO (WHEN exchanged).
Very nice. Virtual cloths are more expensive than actual ones.

(wtb Haru's hairstyles for lots of game currency, by the way)
Display MoreDid some research, in japan the currency for the cash shop is called Hancoin (according Soul Worker Online's facebook page).
Heres the prices in Yen and how much Hancoin you can buy,
100 for 100 yen
300 for 300 yen
500 for 500 yen
1000 for 1000 yen
2000 for 2000 yen
3000 for 3000 yen
5000 for 5000 yen
10000 for 10000 yen
To put this in perspective (i'm basing this off google yen to us dollar so please google be right lol) 1000 Hancoin is around 10 dollars, the most expensive outfits on the japanese cash shop cost 2600 Hancoin so around 25ish dollars i'd say.
I've even seen some things on the japanese cash shop that are 5000 Hancoin which is roughly around 50 dollars so lol, i'd say japan gets things a little cheaper but still expensive lol.
(this is just a rough estimate using information from facebook and japanese cash shop youtube videos.)
Yeah, this seems like we got the worse end of the deal - the jump between 20$ and 50$ in NA doesn't have anything between it, that's so large that for anything more than 20$ you're required a minimum 50$ purchase. When you're asking almost as much as a full new game release for microtransations you've stepped a bit far beyond what people are willing to pay.
I'll definitely need to write a massive post on all this but I'm busy and working slowly as is ;w;
those prices are crisp would buy 11/10 /s
I to am calling for a boycot speak with your wallet, you too paying players, make them ruuuuuu the day they tried this. i know some people who looking for some hot ammo to fuel the fire that is the gaming market. wanna be added to it ![]()

Yeah I agree, if they added more payment options like they have in other countries it might be a little better, but right now if you want to buy any different colored hair and hairstyle your pretty much forced to pay around 30 dollars or more even. I'd also like to see the prices drop for stuff to somewhat match the japanese cash shop, but companies usually inflate prices for america wayyyy too much sometimes so we'll see how it plays out.
This is a game not real life! The price are like real life clothes and stuffs or even more expensive! That is a bul***** I rather spend money irl than buy VIRTUAL useless clothes that are same price or more expensive ...
30 bucks for the #1 tier set isn't that bad... I guess. It's basically the same thing on Elsword.
But, 20 bucks for 1 hair costume is a little...
I hope there are more options to load up cash in the future. Like Karma Koin... Really don't want to rely on subway gift cards...
not 30 its 40
It's roughly around 32 bucks not 40 bucks for the highest value full costume package which is 2950. You'd have to load up 40 dollars yeah probably depending on the method you use to charge cash (if you load up 1,800 twice that would = 40 bucks unless you want to load up a full 50 dollars or 99 dollars for whatever reason) but a full costume isn't a full on 40 dollars. Unless of course my math is wrong.
15 euros for 1 haircut..... jesus i spend less in RL for me.
This is just ridicolous.
Quick thoughts - some of the prices seem reasonable, but it's the jump from 20$ to 50$ in the Soulcash pricing that completely breaks the system, especially when it comes to cosmetics. There are a ton of things within the 20-50$ price range that would be more reasonable if they actually costed that, but when the next possible step you can take is all the way at 50$ you're setting your minimum purchase value for half of your marketplace at a point where it's competing with major AAA releases. No single cosmetic or microtransaction will ever be worth that much unless someone has more money than they know what to do with, and while it's fine to give those kinds of people tons of stuff to buy when you exclude 90% of your playerbase from half the stuff you're selling you're damaging both your bottom line and the trust we have in you as a community.
Beyond the overpriced cosmetics and the horrible soulcash pricing, a lot of this actually seems fairly decent. Another thing is that I think the pricing on mats etc is too high, but this is mainly because they're literally one of the best parts of the game and I need to finish my post explaining why they need to be abundantly available.
5$ - 300
10$ - 750
20$ - 1800
50$ - 5250
100$ - 13250
Just for comparison, the prices in Germany in Euro. I specify Germany since GF also sometimes changes Prices depending on region so prices might be different for e.g. Italian Players.
5€ - 500
10€ - 1250
25€ - 3750
50€ - 8750
100€ - 20000
I welcome some "character name change/ character name swap" also some new hairstyle's but hey, lets wait they should add it ![]()

your math right i say 40 becuase you would have to spend 40 in order to have the SC needed for the transaction
Not one person has 'suggested' prices which they deem okay to buy...
There are a few mature people posting in this thread and not just raging like most because they understand this is a business for them and a game for us.
So repeating what the mature people said, if the prices are in fact 'too high' then people won't buy said items and they will adjust their prices. This is a company out to make money and pay their employees, not to satisfy your needs for the most kawaii character creations.
Comparing this to real life situation, you don't walk into McDonald's and scream at the cashier because you think the BigMac is overpriced do you? No you don't because everyone around will think you're out to lunch.
Bottom line is that nobody is forcing you to buy anything to advance your characters and the ONLY legit concern in this thread is the fact they messed up guild names and didn't fix them or give guild leaders one free guild name change to rectify it.
PS: I'm ready for people to quote me and rage because 'I'm sticking up for gameforge' even tho I'm not.
In a walk through the rest of the forums, everyone agrees on one thing the prices are ridiculously high. understand the "pay to play" and "pay to fast" so that some consumables are OK (actually a few consumables) but that the jump to costume prices and customizations is absurd. Even those from the [DE] are surprised (remember that Germany is the headquarters of GF). A simple hairstyle 15 €. ![]()

Yeah, NA absolutely needs that pricing model. There needs to be a middle-of-the-road option where you can get the high-tier cosmetics without needing to jump all the way to 50$. 10$ or so (I don't know the exact exchange rate) seems more fair for the lower tiered cosmetics than 20$ as well. This would be a major improvement if we had it on our end, though I don't know what the exact Euro - Dollar ratio is.
Well yeah the prices are insane but uhh...No one is going to touch the subject on how they messed up guild names, didn't do anything about it and now added guild name change coupon to the premium shop? Literally yesterday I got an answer form the support that they are sorry about it but they can't help me right now because "something is preventing them" but somehow today they found a way to add it to the

And why would someone complain that the price of a BigMac is too high when it's the standard price for a regular combo meal/sandwich when compared to other fast food restaurant prices....?
