I’d love to know how much you spend on BDO a month. Because unless it’s in the thousands (like a lot of dedicated/competitive BDO players) then it’s not as much as you think.

The fact is that it's way more overpriced than on other servers.. just compare NA and EU, you get more from spending less on EU. Just like in jp you wouldn't even have to spend any money to get a costume with x3 slots in it... look at the price of implant slots too, even if you were trying to be f2p, you'd end up either having an excessive grinding to get a single costume with x3 slots or buy implant slots from other players, which also leads to another excessive grinding.. this kind of grind isn't even needed in jp or kr, but again, we are threated differently.

also, I don't mind if they don't give it out to us easily, but at least have the prices matches jp.

sorry not so sorry, people don't want to drop 35/40$ usd (whichever it is) for a virtual costume that doesn't even give extra stats in the end of the day.. you actually have to spend dzenai/$ for those extra stats aka brooches.

you see the thing is with sales is you always start higher so when you lower a price or tell the consumer they are getting a discount they feel more inclined to accept it and drink the lemonade accepting that as the norm much as you have.

I've seen people post like that before. It's bait and a good one, too.

Either way, $25 for a hair is definitely not reasonable at all but this is gameforge we're talking about. Tera EU prices are exactly the same for their cosmetics so it shouldn't be a surprise. (It was for me because I can't believe it, lmao)

Guess I'll just use my wallet elsewhere. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You realize these regions have different economies, different exchange rates, different taxes, different laws right? We don’t all live on the same continent or abide by the same rules.

I mean, they didn't even bother going through a CBT even when they pushed the release so much and also mentioned "wipe" in the past just for OBT. Granted that's another issue, but can you really say gameforge is handling this game greatly so far?

Like, I don't know what's going on but poverty isn't a thing here in Norway. 999 kr equals about 100 Euros and Norwegians typically earn 100 Euros every 4-5 hours of work or so (minimum wage). Yet we have the cheapest cash shop I've seen thus far. That being said, I'd have to spend 15 Euros just for a hairstyle as I'll be lacking 100 coins with the 10 Euros option. Nope.

IMO, I'm willing to pay 10 USD for hair with hair color change bundle together. Paying 18$ just for the hair and x amount on top of it to change the color of the hair is unacceptable.

For the costume:
crap tier: wouldn't put a price on it cus no one would buy it.

okay Tier(Tier 2): 15$ give or take.

Everyone want this Tier(tier 3): around 25$ cus we getting a nice emote with it.

If they make the hair cost 10$ with the ability to choose the color for it, I will grab atleast 1, more if i make more characters or want more hair styles for each of my chararcaters.

consider how many ppl actually want to spend like you do on X costumes.. do you think it's a lot at the end of the day? nope.

they'd obviously make more if example, they lowered the price to 20-25$ for the highest priced costume from several more customers. I'm pretty sure way more people would consider buying then.

maximizing the price you can sell it at doesn't mean that you would make more profit out of it, in fact you might be losing more money since you scare off more customers.

I'll wait till the prices come down after year or two.

The thing is that people have different sense of money values and you seemed to be the type to spend a lot/whale. You don't need to rub it on the player faces, after all everyone is a critic at some point so take some of the flak and live with it.

There are people who have money though. I mean, it's their choice what they can or cannot do with it, right?

Getting half the soulcash for same price is in no way fair by any means, regardless of where you are from

So... The cash shop in JP... is a 1-1 ratio, the cash shop coinage being 100 coins for 100 yen. Hair colors are 100 yen, hair style changes are 300 yen.

Here.. They are 390 coins for a hair color (More than $5 as it's $5 for the 300 coin pack)
And hair styles are 1,850 coins (You can't even buy it with the $20 coin pack as it only gives 1,800 coins)

So either the cash shop prices are messed up/wrong atm.. Or game forge is ripping off customers by charging nearly MORE THAN 8 times the price it costs in other regions.

(Also, why does EU get 30% more soul cash for the same amount of currency in USD???)

Why stop at 20? Surely there are people who can’t pay 20. Let’s just sell every item for 5 dollars each. That way everyone can feel special and nobody is left out.

Actually no point arguing about this.. They already thought of the possibility that most of us will still spend eventho the price is ridiculously high.. Just dont buy it if you dont want to or be like me, save dz and just buy stuffs in the AH..
