almost 10 times as much crafting materials on global

  • Oh, shit. Almost forgot about this thread.

Ours are higher when it comes to JP, but our build is actually based on KR which actually has the same fashion material costs as us. So no, Gameforge didn't raise anything from the version they're basing off. Someone managed to clear this up on another thread previously.

Is that so? It seems like we are complaining in vain, then.GF would be like : " KR can make it,why can't u do it too?" I don't have enough knowledge about mats drop rates on KR,but I suppose they are higher than ours or they are just managing somehow to get the mats needed

I am the handle of my gun

Speed is my body and bullet is my blood

I have created over a thousand guns

Unknown to Myriam, nor known to Lex

I have withstood pain to create many relationships

Yet,those hands will never hold anything

    So as I pray

    Unlimited gun works!

To my knowledge they droprates are the same, but I've never looked into the issue.

I'm more concerned if they're deliberately changing it to make it harder to get for monetization, but I'm alright with it if there isn't any unhealthy intent in there at least.

  • your killing me with taht pride and accomplishment thing.

  • This shall be,theoretically,an sense for making u proud that not many players have farmed that much for the costume, but u did,blah,blah...Still,this is not correct...We don't want feels,we want something greater than that

This goes to show that the publisher DOES have influence over how the game works. JP is a perfect example. So if you guys want to get your material costs inline with JP, then you have to let GameForge know. Don't listen to these guys that tell you they can't do anything cause they're just the publisher. That's just not true!

Hm, well, there are things they can adjust, but not entirely change about a lot of the game. stuff like numbers and junk is pretty quick zip-zap-zoo fix, when they feel up for it.

Yes, which is what this thread is about. Changing our numbers to match JP's material cost numbers should be pretty straight forward.

  • I feel like I'm being told: You want fashions fast? buy and use SoulCash, you get it very cheap, give it a try!

We still know that the GF version is the same as the KR version where unfortunately they have the "No Game No Life" mentality? (without reference to anime).

Severals hourly or daily grinding is not my thing, well it will take a while but I´ ll craft what I want..

  • There doesn't seem to be all that many fashion blueprints in the game at the moment, and they aren't that appealing either,

Could see myself racking up enough materials for everything in a couple of months.

I don't know how long JP has been around but since players are commenting here that they want similar material costs.

Does anyone have any insight of how well the low costs are working for them over there?

Do they have a larger selection of craftables?

Did they craft everything in a weeks time and are straight up NPC'ing every material they come across?

  • Before you start wanting to equalize to JP, you might want to equalize on KR first, since that's where the client was based off of.
Like others have said though, the amount of clothing materials is the same as KR's...and this is even no longer beta.
(Don't let that get to you though, I'm just putting an excuse to be able to post this KR screenshot image for reference xD; )

...Well, if not lowering the required materials, I'll go for the increased cloth drop rates/amounts, too.

GameForge has no influence on KR's version. They however have influence on EU/NA's version, just as JP's publisher has influence on JP's version. So if you guys want to get your material costs inline with JP's numbers, then now is the time to let them (Gameforge) know.

Plus we're still in open beta.

  • Anyone who defends this either doesn't know what they are talking about or an idiot. GameForge dramatically increased the amount of mats it takes to make clothes because they want you to spend cash shop money on energy to keep farming. It's another greedy move with their already insanely priced cash shop. It's not a "placeholder" because of open beta. They just want to milk the community as much as they can and quickly from the looks of it. It's very bad in the long run for the game but perhaps GameForge is looking at this as a quick money grab game and don't really care about it's longevity.

They didn't increase anything. You can definitely cry out for them to lower the crafting costs, but they are not 'dramatically increased' as a 'greedy move' since KR's costs are the exact same.

The misinformation in this thread is absolutely incredible. Sometimes it's no wonder GF won't listen to people. :S

Yeah, pretty much like that. Not misinformation, but making harder the process all of sudden by increasing from 40 to 360 pcs/mat is a shock for everyone(not that big for EN players who were playing also on KR servers), everyone is looking for a reason for this increase, and making this thread being in chaos.GF will say : "Ok,dudes, how can KR does these outfits, while you are yelling about nerfing those numbers, huh?"

Or they can say : "Ok, if JP can have these material costs for their players, then so can we! After all, we represent a much larger playerbase/region and have a lot more clout and influence."

More like just for the 20% of the players that went out of their way to sneak around IP blocks to play a game in a different region and the 2% that goes to the forum to nitpick at every single design inconsistency with the JP server that isn't in their personal favor.
