Justifying hair prices.

  • If I knew these were all the hairstyles ingame and I had to pick one and just settle with it, then I would be fine. The problem is that isn't the case and it's possible that I might want future hairstyles and it turns into a mess of more money than I want to pay.

Sure if you really want it, then you'll just pay, but maybe it tickles my don't spend too much for pretty things on a screen bone

    i totally agree !!

the review functionally must be in the game for hairs/costumes/colors and everything not only in the cash shop also before we craft the items ingame and the market ! (it's already in the market but not for the blueprints!)

  • It was just off the top of my head earlier, but just to name a few others. Tera, FF XIV (although in that one you can change hairstyles with ingame currency), Archeage, PSO2 all don't let you keep hairstyles AFAIK. Could be wrong on like one of them.

There are just as many popular MMOs that let you keep your hair as those who don't so, either way that argument is moot.

I don't really see how FFXIV even comes into play here. It's a subscription only game and all hairstyles are accessible to all players for free. There are no cash shop hairstyles and they regularly release new styles, which are also free. You can change your hair whenever you want.

Ehhh this is mostly true i guess? Cept the part where there are no cash shop hairstyles. There are - just they are sold usually with outfits. Like Minfilla's for example. Or Thancred- Edgelord edition. and others i am forgetting atm, or just Y'shtola

That is true. Didn't think of theirs that are tied into a costume. But that's what 3 hairstyles? And they are "iconic" so I guess they have their own category. Like Odin's mount being cash shop, etc.

And Minfillia's hair is quite nice as well. >.>

Also >.> The entire costume for Minfilia and the hairstyle is...$15? >>

  • Yeah these are good prices, considering the game is a sub too. i dont mind paying it anyway

  • Wait I did read this right?

U lose ur hairstyle when u change it?

I had hoped it was something u bought and could change when u felt like another look.

You read that wrong. You don't lose it in this game. The discussion was that you lost it in some other games. If you read OP, he says that you don't lose it.

Ah yes now I see it, still quit expensive compared to vindictus. U could switch there aswell.

  • Honestly i could probably live with the prices of cosmetic items aside from costumes if the character creation had way more options than it currently has. It doesn't though and character creation has almost no customization options so i cant justify the prices for hairstyles and such being so high. My suggestion would be to either put more options in the character creator or lower prices to be more reasonable since you are sort of forcing those of us who care about or characters looks to buy from the shop.

  • I can freely switch between my paid hairstyles in BnS and they cost me like $3. The hairstyles in other versions of this game are far cheaper as well.

There is no justification, stop trying. It's completely and utterly overpriced in our version, for no reason.
