If you are saying p2p as in a pay to progress faster sense you could argue yes. They are currently still giving out the free daily mats and pots though. Or I should say I got mine.

But bro, are you actually surprised? The majority of people who played this or were paying attention to Soulworker's release knew that you'd be able to buy EP consumables and mats in the cash shop eventually. There's a reason its called the "premium" tab.
What sets it apart is if paying through the cash shop is the ONLY way to get those consumables, and so far that hasn't been true, because they're still giving out an effective 130 EP per day to everyone.

My original plan was to use them on the full days I had free. Apparently I'm too much of a filthy casual though.

I was told that you need EP for endgame content too. If they release such content then it will be all about who can afford more mats, will it not ? Perhaps these said contents are not worthy mentioned. Is there someone here who can clarifies this ?
I don't mind if there is an energy system but i don't like to be forced to pay for my play time in a f2p game either.
They did say they were currently looking into potentially altering the stamina system. We just have to wait and see for now. We may end up with quite a bit mote energy when they are done.

i don't get out from the game untill i used all my enrgy/energy pot100/energy pot50/energy pot30 (it take me 2 hours to spend all the energy)

no it's not p2w if with the energy pot in the cash shop you can always wait for the next day (witch is driving me insane)
also they already did say they will find a way to make the energy system better(i don't really see how they will make it better it's all wrong) but still hope for the future
p2w mean when players can get better than other players by paying more
example : paying 5$ wont be as good as 10$ and there is always players that want to be number 1 so they will pay more and more and more (i did see players paying more than 50k$ on online game xD)
p2w for free to play players mean
1 : when the free to play player can NEVER be as good as who pay to the game
2 : when who pay the game can get better than the free to play player with no time
3 : when you as free to play player take uncountable time to be as good as who pay the game

i can tell you this
in my opinion from the most p2w games >> archeage
also in my opinion from the most f2p games >> skyforge
while in skyforge you can just convert your cash point to game cash (and you can do it the other way) you can get what ever you want in the game if you pay BUT also the f2p players can do it with little of work
(for me at last it was really easy)in archeage you will need petron (monthly subscription) if you are a f2p you need to farm for it 2 month in the game than buy it , after that you need to work every day in the month to get the next one XD
when new end-game items relesed at the day one 2 players have them xD it was a joke!
(anyone know archeage know how hard is that) so in archeage f2p players will never ever come even close to p2w players xD

and there is no way to switch back to the already owned hair style
but hay i still new on the game xD
there is maybe things i didn't know yet and how it may effect in-game
for me i will wait and see XD but it's too early to say this game is p2w

I wouldn't say it is a delicate system or problem. I would say that it is not easy to please everyone with it.

Read those posts in Announcement, Gameforge said while they're discussing about fatigue system, they will give u free those 2 items everyday. Until they come to a final decision about changing that fatigue system or not
