Smilegate and Soul Worker SEA

    I figured that Gameforge hasn't give the reason why SEA,Latin America and Oceania players were blocked,so to start from the basics which probably no one has thought of it or even mention it in these forums,is there any way to contact Smilegate,whether through social media or others?Does Smilegate have office branches outside of South Korea and around the world?Does Gameforge have office branches outside of the US and EU?Where is the main Gameforge department EXACTLY located at and where is the main Smilegate department exactly located too?

    From what I know, GF has a branch in the US (Gameforge Productions INC.), but their headquarters are in Karlsruhe, Germany (Gameforge AG). Other than that, they don't seem to have any other offices elsewhere.


    Did a quick Google Search and scanned Wikipedia - I believe that Smilegate has US and EU branches (Smilegate West and Smilegate Europe respectively). Apparently their EU office is located in Berlin, Germany. Their main headquarters are located in Seoul, Korea.

    Gameforge DID give the reason, simply because as you seem to know smilegate holds the legal rights to soulworker for those markets, which is why they could take legal actiion against gameforge allowing Players from those regions to Play in their Servers, one of the Things Publisher discuss with developers when making a contract, gf did even Show the list for which countrys they hold the rights
