EXP Rates are really, really low in this game.

  • Exp rates are fine i got level 55 in around 10 days. You are encouraged to autoparty as it gives 2% xp bonus for each member in your party. The grind from level 40 isn't that bad not when you compare the grind to level 52-55. The main quests should give you a huge chunk of your exp.

The way people are level 55 already is because they are MAT hunting and doing suicide runs where only half your energy is taken

and also MANIC mission 4 only. Manic mission 4 gives more xp than mission 3 2 1 of the next city.

Ahh if it isnt Napoleon lml mats for days in the forttess than burn it in manic the grind isnt that bad but its still there. My only true issue is its not the same xp rate across the board

I tried def need me a signature

  • Honestly as much as I hate the slow leveling grind, I think it's a good thing.

I hate games where you get max level in one second.. Or you'll have lvl 55's running around like a army with no understanding of the game.

This is the case with some games now, like DFO, Closers, Elsword, and even BnS more and more.

Make it easy as shit to get to cap then sit around doing nothing and spamming "we need more content" on forums/discord, or getting to cap and knowing jack shit of anything and then holding everyone back in a party or getting themselves killed non-stop.

I guess for DFO and Closers it's excusable since those games encourage leveling alts a lot, but it just gets boring and repetitive too fast.

For me personally, I don't mind taking my time leveling, as long as the content while leveling isn't stupid easy or a mind-numbing grind with no satisfaction in playing. So far this game is neither of those.

I just wish I could log in and see my damn server without having to relog 5-6 times for it to show up...

    Or random crashes....

    And affordable cash shop.

  • What is with the constant need of mmo players to reach the max level as soon as possible?

Honestly, I am strolling through this game, enjoying it from level 1, not even thinking of max level and how much more % I miss to get that sweet +1 to the number next to my name.

This game having a slow leveling is a godsend for me personally. Game is fun right away from the start, and it doesn't start being fun only at last level and endgame

    Is that heresy I see?

  • I am so happy that it takes some time to level up. Lately in MMO's you got to max level within the first day of release. I believe when Destiny 2 got out I had 3 Chars on max before the first week was over. In Soul Worker it is nice that you don't get to max level ASAP, and that it takes time. I actually enjoy the Mat feature a lot because it makes you take a break etc. So having these EXP rates are actually very fun and pleasing for me.

I've made a lot of friends from sharing mats and radios! They're my favorite part of this game and you have the chance to meet a lot of interesting people.

  • I had problems at like 50+ lvl quest exps seems to be little underrated? at least in my view. Spend like 3 hours+ to make 51 lvl from 50lvl and 70%m, doing green quests. When u doing quest for like 300-400k exp, same like we did in grace city with poison boss ... <X:/:rolleyes:

It's better not to finish the dungeon for the green quest exp reward. You get more exp from dying at the boss and doing the dungeon again. You get a lot more exp for how much energy you use.

When you ENTER a dungeon you only use half of the energy, then when you kill the boss it takes away the other half, but if you die at the boss and leave the dungeon, it doesn't take the second part. So it's better to die at the boss and do the dungeon again then to complete it for some small exp like 1mil.

  • I like to take it slow as well, but I personally think the slow grind works better with open world RPGs where there's a lot to explore, or simply games that have extensive and well-written plots. For a dungeon-crawler game with little effort put into the writing, the grind feels very claustrophobic.

  • lol it is more like 2% with full group and 50% exp gear from level 50 and beyond. Farming without a Stella feels really good at late game.

  • playing here as opposed to tha jap servers first thing i noticed was the difficulty i dont even remember taking damage there let alone die in a dungeon...and when i did die here i was like wtf SEPUKKU is one way to go ...then again now you dont need vpn for the jap version anymore

  • I wouldnt mind the xp rates if i didnt get walled by the fatigue system. itd be one thing if they gave us something to do once we reached our limit but i havent found anything other than the grave thing and even that has a limitation on it, and dont tell me to make alts because that isnt how i play MMOs. i have my main character and thats all i want to focus on.

  • theres a reason why theres a energy system...if u get 55 in 2 days with no more content than 3 raids it will get boring instantly back when i played on the jap server there was primal and raids and what now and took me a month to get all the equipment and level...hence why i quit ...hence why theres energy points...it gets extremely boring extremely fastm

This is such flawed logic. how is preventing me from actualy playing the game keeping me from getting bored exactly? Also who are you to speak on everyones behalf? Plenty of people have fun repeating dungeons and farming mats with friends, you can find that in almost every single mmo.

  • Only thing about the exp rates that makes me sad is when I look at how I need 1.3billion to level up from rank 1 (D) to rank 2 (C) when there is a total of 20 ranks. On the Japanese server it only takes like around 33mil to go from rank 1 to rank 2.

Everyone want grinding but at the same time complaining thay have to grind more cuz lower exp rate? perfect logic on your end ...most of the comments i saw were complaints for the constant same dungeon grind

again you are generalizing and speaking for others, your argument isnt applicable. Some people will always complain but to claim that this is how the entire game population thinks is just absurd and wrong. There is no holes in my logic, try again.
