What Actually is Super Armor?

  • So, let's start with the bluntly obvious:

    Enemies with Super Armor on cannot be interrupted or flinched.


    And then on to everything else.

    • Does Super Armor really reduce damage done to the monster?
    • Does broken Super Armor cause a loss of defense /or loss of defense buff/no change?
    • Assuming you have a basic attack stat, just what exactly do the damage % and SA break % mean? Is SA break it's own type of damage? If so, is it only useful for breaking armor or is it applied to "real damage"?
    • We know that high attack % skills do alot of damage during broken Super Armor, but is it because of the high attack %, or the cumulative total of attack % + SA break%?
  • 1)It does and by a lot from what I saw

    2)Loosing a super armor will let you deal more damage, and as you stated, let you flinch the boss

    3)Damage % is just the damage your skill will do, so lets say if you have 1000attack (not taking min and max into account), and a skill that does 200% dmg, you will do 2000 damage (not taking into account your accuracy and partial damage). That damage is reduced because of super armor though. SA% works same as damage % except its for SA bar and doesn't affect your overall dmg at all, it just drains SA bar of boss.

    4)Just high attack %


    I might be wrong on a point or 2 so feel free to correct me, this is just my personal observation

    Is that heresy I see?
