I found out today that steam and GF launcher run on the same servers and decided to use GF launcher since there is less bugs. When I got to the GF launcher I used the same email and password as my steam client to login. I did not make an account so I thought it didn't matter whichever one I login with. When I got in the game there was no characters so I was wondering how I can use them. It doesn;t really make sense to me as there is the same server and it lets me login without setting up an account with GF.
How to use steam characters with GF launcher?

i already try to send ticket about it since i wanted to play with launcher instead of steam version. They reply " In the future, we will provide a possibility to link and unlink your Steam and website accounts." So the only way is to wait and hope.

you should delete any new toons you created via luncher if you made any. Guildie did something similar and indead up with a conflicted account and no help whats so ever. He had to start over from beginning
