PJ Salt on Spicy Hot Stats-Sause

  • As i already mentioned in the title, let s us discuss about "stats":

I have not conducted any kind of test/experiments yet and just want to gather some information for now. We now assume that our cute little monster has following stat values:

    Level (lvl) : 55

    HP: 100000

    Defence (Def) : 0

    Damage Reduction (dmg red): 0

    Resistence (res): 0

    and Lily:

    Level (lvl) : 55

    Min-Max damage (min/max): 4000 - 5000

HP: 10000 (base value, which means no Equipments)

    Defense (Def) : 0

    Damage Reduction (dmg red): 0

    Resistence (res): 0

Skill : basic attack (skill amplifier = 100%)

    here are some speculations:

    1. Partial Damage (pdmg): i actually have no clue what this is supposed to be. i guess:
      - it s the probability of you hitting with the maximum damage value (which is 5000 in this case): average damage = (pdmg * max) + ((1-pdmg)*min )

      - according to @Lilabelle it is the multiplier that's applied when you miss, which means: Evasion feels more like a Block that reduces damage by a certain amount (not flat) if the enemy fails to hit you.
    2. Critical Damage (crit dmg):
      - total damage = (average damage + Critical Damage) * skill amplifier (our enemy does not have any defense value in this case)
    3. Percentage HP (% HP): This stat increases your HP based on your base HP not your total HP, which means: it sucks !
    4. Percentage Attack Damage (% att dmg): same as in 3 with base attack value
    5. Virtue/Sin/Grace/Hate/Solace/Torment/Maniac Damage: No Information regarding these types of elemental damage.
    6. If Victory: HP Regeneration : Say woot !? It is life steal right !?
      - you regains a flat amount of HP after killing an enemy
    7. Extra Damage to Enemy: Basic/PvP/Aerial Hit/Incapacitated: This is quiet straight forward. You can think of them as just another type of critical damage with certain conditions. I believe that there is a base value for Aerial Hit which is unknown to us. "Incapacitated" seems to be pretty useful for Stella but i do not think it has any base value to begin with. Stacking this stat is even harder than stacking critical rate which explains why most people give no shizzz about it.
    8. Armor Break:  it is not "super armor break". It increases your damage output by ignoring a portion enemy 's defense values. you can think of it as Percentage Armor Penetration
    9. Super Armor Break: it increases the skill amplifier (super-armor-break-part) by a small amount. I just do not know whether it is on top of every hit or of the total damage at the end. The later one seems to be unlikely. If the first one applies then this stat is very powerful on Lily because she has many skills with multi-hits.

  • Partial damage is the multiplier that's applied when you miss.

Critical damage gets added to your attack before multipliers, not after. And your minimum attack damage is always 80% of your maximum attack damage. And your base critical damage is equal to your base minimum attack. So if your Lily had 4000-5000 attack (min to max) her critical damage would be 4000. And on a crit, her attack damage would be a random number between 8000 and 9000. That number is then subjected to multipliers.

Elemental damage functions just like attack does, except it's elemental and it seems to only apply a percentage of the time. Some raid mobs resist it, some raid mobs are weak against it.

There's a guide explaining all of this, btw.

  • ty for the infos.
