• Sounds like a temperature issue, a gpu will limit itself when it gets too hot. Clean out the dust from ur PC and apply new thermal paste if necessary

Note: you can use Nvidia inspector to see the gpu temperature while gaming

  • i have used cam for the temperatures and according to it both cpu and gpu are around 58 to 61 .and unfortunately cant open the laptop since that will void the warranty. i might sent the laptop to them so they clean it.

  • Grace city is just optimized badly, nothing you can do about it.

The whole game is optimized poorly and there's nothing we can do about it.

The only thing that improves framerate is lowering the draw distance of objects/terrain.

It still drops hard in combat, especially if you're in a 4 person party.

Based on my experience with similar games, they'll never improve this. It will stay running like arse until the servers close down.

  • Don't forget the things that most consume Fps are shadows and texture quality in a game ;(

  • Don't forget the things that most consume Fps are shadows and texture quality in a game ;(

Textures don't do anything to framerate; they just consume VRAM, and if you run out of VRAM then you suffer performance issues (notably loading freezes).

Model quality on the other hand affects framerate, usually CPU.

Shadows, yes, one of the most impactful settings in most games, as they're generally CPU generated, and games already struggle enough with being CPU bound.

But, in this game, it's pretty much all about draw distance which controls how far objects (ie models) are rendered. It's significantly CPU bound, so it significantly affects framerate. The majority of the other settings are largely irrelevant.. at least on normal spec PCs.
