Spirit Swamp Not Hitting

    Hello.

    Kinda too much coincidence for such thread when the server is lagging but I won't be referring about that. I've been experimenting some issues with Spirit Swamp, I cast it, goes on CD, Stella stays in the animation but there isn't hitting anything. I'm aware that against/near walls Spirit Swamp seems to be unable to hit but that's not the case here.


    So, I want to know if any Stella player have ever had such issue, seems to be a ping related issue, someone told me that I could check my ping at Task Manager -> Open Resource Monitor -> Network -> TCP Connections -> SW -> Latency goes around 60~80. If this isn't a proper way to check your ping/there's one better please let me know or if actually this isn't really a ping related issue tho if actually is one I just can't help it and would have to get used to it, fortunately it happends like 2~3 of 10 times.

    I'm assuming it's ping. I had a lot of instances of skills going off and not hitting some targets today especially. I don't play stella though so I can't say it's not a char based issue.

    i've had this happen to me a lot recently, mostly within the last 3 days or so

    i would cast it and sometimes it just doesnt show up, sometimes it does but no damage happens, etc.

    it happened a LOT earlier when the servers were lagging, so i assume it's a ping/latency issue but it's happened before when i wasn't lagging too (or maybe i just didn't notice the lag)

    There are a couple of instances in which the skill will not work.


    First and foremost is a ping/latency related issue when the game is Lagging. This is something we the playerbase cannot do anything about.


    Second, There are certain areas that are considered OUT OF BOUNDS, and if you position it where it would clip into an object or an invisible wall, it will not have any animation at all and do no damage.


    Most likely it is a connection issue, but be careful with the second one.

    Yeah I recently had it casted and no ghosts shown but they were doing damage like 'Hmm, ok? I guess'


    Yeah i'm aware of first issue, unfortunately it's present on one of Stella's best skills but fortunately it does not happend that often at least. Ping issues had me literally unable to play some classes entirely and some on a proper way or at least the way I would like to on another games, it's pretty sad tho. That second aspect would explain some things. Thank you.

    Sometimes it wont show up but its still there most likely clipped into floor or something dumb like that, what Mirumi said can happen also when it comes out invisible walls and objects. At least thats how its been for me, it could also just be lag but i usually still see damage so i know the skill worked.
