Dunno why you would go in a squad then die if you're doing suicidals. Seems like a hassle for both you and them.
Unless you really care about the party bonus that much.

It is pretty rude. I've encountered quite a bit of people like this. I was doing area 9 ep4 and I had 3 people with me. They all died at the start of boss (They didn't even bother attacking. They just walked up to him and stood there). I didn't mind at first, they would leave party and boss would sync down to only having 1 person. They stayed dead the entire fight, so the boss stayed as the strength of full party, so it took forever, and when I got it down to 1 bar, all 3 of them Abandoned and then left party. x.x I was pretty pissed.
The game doesn't punish people who leave at the boss(they almost give an incentive to leave early such as saving energy). I will admit I have done it when i was approximately at levels 52-54. I've encountered lots of people exit even though i wanted to complete the boss. It is frustrating but i don't hold it against them. If they don't want to do boss then ill just die as well and save myself energy as well. For me the main reason is the bosses being ridiculously annoying(Naran). The bosses 1 shot and kill really fast and when you run it enough times, you will notice your respawners start depleting fast. In those cases people who die just end up exiting.
Bottom like is run with guild members/friends.
That sounds toxic. I wonder what's worse that, or League of Legends community.
There's 2 kind of people in the world:
-The ones who do this
-The ones who got to deal with it
I'm the latter. It's pretty toxic yeah, I've encoutered people doing this even in Tower of Greed, hopefully to me King Wayangon is way easy but regardless that, it took me a lot to kill him when I was leveling an alt, i've suffer this in another games where you can do basically the same thing. Hopefully I level with friends most of the time, slow but fun. I wouldn't AFK the whole run just cause I'm only care for the blueprints which drops at boss, there you're assuming people will just die at boss when they could have the same goal as you tho even if they're not it does not justify your behavior, if you know that that's what scum do and you still do it, you'll be worse than scum, don't expect people to change, make the change.
I haven't reached 55 yet so I can't quite say that I know what you are going thru.
I do know that if and when a player leaves the boss dmg/hp will get reduced as well, no clue about drops quantity or %. If they help throughout the dungeon and die right at boss pull and leave I think I would be okay with it. I definitely wouldn't if they just afk the whole thing.
In my opinion killing yourself at the last boss to conserve energy and what not is a pretty flawed way of leveling. It just seems/sounds weird to me.
It's not flawed because boss gives way less exp than the whole mobs you killed before reach him but it costs the other half of your energy so dying at boss you could spent your energy in a more efficient way. If you have a repeatable quest there maybe it would worth but you would need to calculate if actually worth or not vs, etc.

I think the main reason isn't actually the party bonus but the easier it could becomes a run with a party.
Maybe they trying to achieve this????????????????????????? ![]()

Display MoreI did this too, tbh.
Since I'm only lvl 43, I haven't affected anyone on it, tho. It's pretty easy to solo the Bosses, so I don't think I have done anything bad.
Your problem is, that you are expecting smth from Randoms. If you get matched with people who wanna lvl, with utmost efficiency, because their EP is limited, then you cannot expect them to tag along this 1 person wanting to farm blueprints.
If you rly want to do smth against it, you may want to try doing a manual Team Recruitment, where u only farm with people who wanna farm the Blueprints, too. The People in Auto-Team are a random factor, you cannot control anyways
Yeah that is true in one way but i don't think they actually planned it to be this way, it just became this way. But yeah i agree that an auto-team system has it flaws. I guess il just AFK then when i can't find specific people for blueprints farming in Dungeons
That would just beeing frustrated about their behaviour and throwing a tantrum. It's not like they would care anyways. They don't plan to do the Boss anyways, you give them their EP boost and you didn't make any progress whatsoever.
Don't get me wrong, I do feel like this is a bit unfair for people who wanna do the Boss, yet the mechanic to leave early exists. When I play at 7 AM, having maybe 40 EP left, I prefer doing this then satisfiying other peoples desires.
What I would do if I were you would either be doing the Boss solo, cuz everything is soloable, given a specific Skill level, or building, as earlier mentioned, a Group, aiming for the blue prints.
Some of them can be damn cute though
Is this bait?...FBI?
I made myself a blacklist of all people i encounter doing this. Then I just don't group with them in auto team. If enough people do this they will need to make premades or solo, it won't be as fast for them to auto team.
the real problem is the energy system...too bad Gameforge is only worried about monetization. They letting their game die in beta. It's actually sad...

Well there has been polls and discussions about that already and most people were fine with the system as it is. Iv said from the start that it is a shit system.
Now this happens, those not wanting to change the system have to eat their own words.
The sad part is that society is ruled by unintelligent people that can see beyond their own needs.
The voices of the plebs if you will...
Long live the Emperor!
That has nothing to do with GameForge or monetization and only little with the energy system. The developers, Lion Games, simply overlooked that they had to subtract the energy on death & Leaving as well and created an exploit this way. Do this at the issue is resolved.
The problem is human greed. It's a player who purposely does this to other players. Software will always have bugs and never be perfect, but using exploits at the cost of other is something humans do. No a publishing company, not the company of the developer, not any kind of system. It individual humans who do this to gain an advantage regardless of the others surrounding them. Actually, they are acting just like the NPC Henryk and this should be punishable.

I agree people will be selfish. However systems in the game shouldn't encourage people to be selfish too. I can't hold every single player accountable but I can say when Gameforge is being unreasonable.

While this is true and I agree with it.
With systems that limits progression there will always be people trying to get pass the limitation.
Limiting progression with a system that serves no other purpose then making money, creating the "need" to exploit. There is so many things now in the cash shop to give back or getting more energy that the system is totally worthless and only limits people with no money.
You can now have a total of 400ep with the gold and silver membership combination. That combined with the free mat and free EP pot is 530ep/day. Not to mention mat-hunting.
This is solid proof the system only serves as a money cow. There is clearly no interest in limiting game time to prolong gameplay before the small amount of endgame content available, like so many advocates of this system used as a argument for the fatigue system. Or like the argument you yourself used in another thread, that the system is an exit point for the player.
But in the end the joke is on the exploiters, at least those who do this in the 50-55 area. By not doing the boss they forsake the chance to get blueprints they will need at 55.
I already got all but head and I am 54. Got 2 for Stella that I sold for a total of 4.5m.
The goods and bads about that system has been discussed more then enough. There is no need to bring it up very time. It will very likely stay as it is a core concept of Lion Games design for this game. If we are lucky it becomes a bit less limiting. For now, just deal with it, current events are a clear sign that GF is aware of it.
Speaking of GF, they do not implement anything into the game by them self. Most of what is criticized has been created by Lion Games. It's also natural that a games is suppose to make money. Its naiv to think a F2P game would really be free. Paying to extend playtime really is one of the lesser evils. Same with the costume prices. Do you prefer a gear wall that you can only overcome by throwing money out for upgrading? Or making content so hard hitting you basically have to cash for resurrections?
But again, this has little to do with the issue at hand. Anything that give people an advantage would cause the same problem.
Well they join in with max experience gear, level 16 weapon with + 10% exp buff on it, they are pretty much useless throughout the whole run and then leaves at the end.
This for example has nothing to do with the energy system, it's just leeching.
Simply fix the bug. Issue solved.
Edit: Also please be aware that there is an edit button.
You shouldn't be judging this as a bug. There's a reason why you have to pay half of the total Energy with your enter and the other half when finishing it. If you'd be implementing a countermeasure, you'd drag those down who cannot resurrect and they'd lose EP then, becuz you wanted it like this?
Furthermore, shall they loose Ep whenever they die? Like, when there's some1 dying in one of the Mob groups, shall they loose EP too? Cuz these People would just die with one of the mob groups instead of dying in the Boss room to save their EP. And now imagine you had to choose between EP and a Resurrecter in a mere Mob group. Not a really appealing election, huh?
At the very least this whole QQ made me at least fight the Boss with them. I just won't use pots. It's a good training for dodging. You can only appeal to those people, that they at least help you with the Boss. The other methods just have way 2 many flaws. Especially if I consider the arrogance shown here, by complaining about them beeing selfish, but not even considering what the bad sides of "removing this EXPLOIT" were. ^^'

I don't know if I understood correctly but what are the flaws in doing a full run, beside paying the other half of the amount you agreed to pay when clicking on the dungeon?
Please clarify.

I am not against cash shops in general. Honestly I like the concept.
Games like Path of Exile does it the right way tho. Only cosmetics. And since they have such good rep and actually listens to their community, makes them feels involved, players have no issue paying 40$ for a costume even tho you can't even see the thing.
They do it to support the game and the Devs.
This cannot be applied to GF, I know that. They haven't made anything in their lives and only live of other companies like Lion Game.
I did buy the gold and silver membership cuz I actually get something for it. The costumes in this game, not so much. And the one available look like shiet tbh. The craftable ones look better.
You didn't.
The flaws are if you'd do implement some of the countermeasures against the Boss-Quitter.
I just go along with it. Since I live in utmost efficiency, I hate to think about me beeing able to forfeit earlier and spend the 8 Energy I had to spend for a boss fight, which gives me maybe 100k EP, 50K Dz and a bit loot instead of spending them for another Entry where I get 2-3kk EP, 100k DZ and lots of loot. Ofc I'm only lvl 49 and so I dunno how I'll think about it in the 50-55 Area. ^^'
