I'm not sure if you can implement voice chat in the game. It's quite annoying to keep joining x amount of discord, or team speak servers, and then your party is over in a matter of an hour. It would be more simple if you had it built in the client?

Normally when MMOs implement their own VoIP it turns out pretty poor quality-wise and nobody decides to use it. I would love to see it, but would fear what it might become.

It works pretty well in Dota 2, and LoL is Implementing it soon to their client.

Those are both MOBAs and also less machine intensive than something like SoulWorker. I've seen a few MMORPGs with actual voice implementation and either nobody used it or it had a poor voice quality.

Either way, (and not to shut-down the idea)- if it's not something in the Japanese or Korean Client Builds to begin with, chances are; the Engine code Soulworker is built around likely does not support the necessary audio codecs needed to first make it work.
This isn't even considering the type of memory footprint allotment that is needed to handle the separate audio bands.
Again, not to shut the idea down, I'm not Lion Games so ultimately they'd have the better say, but i cannot help but imagine what one of those people at the development table would ask in response to this suggestion:
"What's wrong with players using the traditional VoIP's like Ventrilo, Teamspeak, Discord, Skype, etc- that they've been using and well acquainted with for years now?"
I'm just looking at this from a technical perspective, because personally, i just want to see a really stable Client build for ourselves.

It's more convenient to have it in the game especially when you're auto matching manics. I rather just be able to talk in the game already instead of server hopping on different voice applications.

I use ts3, discord or Skype.. But ingame voice chat is so useful, for talk with other People when we use auto match making.
